The Jas Cafe
My family and I went to the Jas Cafe this weekend for DimSum. The Cafe serves DimSum on the weekends with cart service. It was very tasty and worth the visit! The Cafe is open from 10-3 pm so keep that in mind when planning your visit. We are definitely coming back.

Amazing little cafe!! I got the breakfast sandwich and the bun was deliciously fluffy (the picture doesn’t do it justice!). The opera cakes were amazing as well, there were two flavours, berry vanilla and bailey’s. Beautiful and delicious! I found the cakes best when I let them come to room temp. I would definitely come again! Excited to try their bubble tea.

Amazing place! This is just what Ladysmith needed. I have been dreaming of dim sum since moving to the island and was pleasantly surprised to see it on the weekend menu. Chai lattes, bubble tea, amazing cookies; this place has something for everyone. The staff are so friendly. The pork shumai is exceptional!

Beautiful little coffee shop. The dim sums were delicious although most of my orders were not available and had to wait to get them. The price is quite high compared to other dim sum restaurants.

What a little gem! Ladysmith is lucky to have Jas Cafe. Food was fantastic for a little cafe off the beaten track. The crispy noodle and duck and fried chicken were 100%, absolutely recommended. Dim Sum is not quite Vancouver/HK level obviously, but definitely worth ordering. Service was a little slow, but understandable since there's only the owners working serving all 12 of us! Coming from a family who used to do the same thing, we appreciate the owners efforts and love they pour into their cafe. Keep up the good work Jas Cafe. Can't wait to pop in on our way up and down the island. You are definitely an asset to your community ✨✨✨

Great staff and excellent food. The Dim Sum was world class and the chicken feet were a must have. The cart food was hot and delicious and they made the chicken feet to order! Our party of 5 loved every bite! Thank you so much for the wonderful lunch. We will be back again.

After walking some local trails out to Heart Lake, we were starving and found this local gem near by where we parked our car.We were greeted so quickly by Jai and she was very attentive to our table as we ordered Dim Sum and Bubble Tea. Would 100% recommend this place for anybody looking to support local. It was really cool to see all the artwork on the wall showing the evolution of this spot from a Gas station, to a butchers shop and eventually to Jas Cafe.Thanks for having us! Can't wait to come again!

So fun to see what I used to know as Carlos' corner store now this wonderful cafe!! The seating is great, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is fantastic!! Such a great, wonderful mix of Asian and Canadian (and Portuguese custard tarts!)! Definitely worth stopping in or ordering out - I've done both!!

Pricey but delicious Dim Sum. Spend $140+ for 2 adults and 1 baby.Visited again ordered less food bill is 70+ , food is amazing. Highly recommend Chao Chew dumplings/ shrimp chives dumplings/ sesame balls
