The biggest feature of this place is a glass building, so when you see this glass building you find this place.

There is always a terribly long wait for the ambulance in this city. This is shameful

Paramedics Mike and Allen came for my rescue yesterday. Very calm and polite and supportive. Attention to detail. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Paramedics Paul and Cassidy (sp?) came to the rescue when my 90+ mother had taken a turn at home in Ottawa a little before the holidays. They listened to our feedback about how dire the change was, patiently listened to my mother and how she was feeling and doing, gingerly and carefully got her out of the house, stayed by her side and updated me while we waited for her to be admitted to the QCH. How she is today is a complete 180 from that time after getting the care she needed and I am grateful they were the ones to answer the call.

I was transferred from the Civic hospital to St. Vincents rehab facility on November 4th mid afternoon, after spinal surgery, expecting to enter rehab. Once there and after vitals were taken, it was apparent I had a fever and infection so I had to be returned to the Civic. An ambulance was called and I was under the care of two paramedics, Jocelyn and Jasmine. My wife and I were shocked and disappointed at the turn of events but were reassured by the medics who were super efficient taking vitals and asking questions and setting up an IV for me. They took very good care of me and advised my wife to go home and get some rest after a few hours wait at the Civic. Very good advice and care by two compassionate individuals. Thank you so much! My gr grdaughter seven yrs old broke her elbow last night.The paramedics showed up and were very skilled and it was amazing watching the way they interacted with a seven yr old frightened child.Very professional.They talked her right out of her fears.My hat is off to these gentlemen.David moodieFormer retired city employeeTraffic

Ottawa paramedics were by my side the entire ordeal. I was very frightened, high anxiety, and panic that i made their job difficult. They were also very professional with my family.
