Helen and her team are amazing! Midyat tailor is my go to for any alterations, she has done my wedding dress, veil, my MIL dress, my SIL wedding dress and other family member's formal dress. Customer service is amazing and she is quick!

Stitching quality was poor, one piece of velcro ripped after first use, the other was about 2cm shorter than i asked for. Wouldn't recommend for getting patches or velcro sewn on.

Just fixed my winter jacket. Both sides has the seems coming apart under the arms, about 4-5 sections. Sewed them up within a few hours, looks brand new and great price. Very friendly service also. Definitely recommend.

A hidden gem in downtown Halifax!Love their cloth masks, which fit well thanks to superior construction and precise stitching. Wire is sandwiched between 3 layers of tightly woven cotton cloth for shaping around the nose. The price to comfort and quality ratio is amazing.I also received excellent follow-up service when the elastic came loose and I returned to get it fixed.Great prices, amazing quality, and excellent customer service.

Was In Halifax for work and one of my dress pants was damaged at the pocket level, making it unwearable. Although they were busy they took care of them in 90m with a great result. Good price and great service

Everything I bring in the seamstress can fix perfectly. Once I had a 6 inch tear near the zipper in my backpack. The seamstress sewed it up and I took that bag all over Europe fully loaded and there is no tear at all. They do really good work for cheap!
