Where’s the chicken?!First time ordering here. Flavourful butter chicken- however if you’re looking for quantity- tonight was not the night.One order had 4- chicken nugget sized pieces- while the other had 5.Sauce was great, naan was great.Hopefully it was a one off tonight - very little value considering the amount of chicken. My 14 year old daughter was still looking for more after.Will go back and adjust review accordingly - 5 star flavour and service- 2 stars taken away for kids meal portions

Delicious food and amazing service. The variety of food is incredible and the naan is cooked to perfection. The waitress was attentive and kind from beginning to end. I forgot to take full photos and put photos are half done. The portions are generous and definitely received more than I anticipated. You won’t be disappointed! This is one of Sudbury’s newly opened hidden gems.

The food was 9/10. Bathroom cleanliness was 1/10. Cannot stress how good the food was, and how kind the waitress was. Food was reasonably priced as well. 70$ for two people with leftovers for the next day.

Service was excellent. Orders were taken quickly. Food took a bit of time to prepare which I don't mind usually but I was starving. The restaurant only had one other table during the lunch hour.We ordered butter chicken, Palak paneer, samosas, plain idly, and also some regular naan.The butter chicken and Palak paneer came with 2 bowls of basmati rice.Butter chicken was flavorful. It was a bit spicy. But I would say it was more of a mild spiciness. I did ask for it to be medium. There was exactly 5 pieces of chicken. There was much more gravy/sauce. I would say it honestly tasted similar to KFI butter chicken sauce.Palak paneer was very creamy and flavorful. It was unlike any other Palak paneer I have had before in the past. It was also medium spicy as well which we asked to be mild. The sauce was excellent though anyways.Samosas were very good as well. The pastry was the stand out as it was so flaky it was surpsingly fried very well.It had the run of the mill fillings inside with potatoes, spices and some green peas.The idly way perhaps just not my type of food. It was very airy and fluffy. Was not substantial. Portion seemed very small for what it is. The gravy that accompanied it was very good. Didn't care too much for the coconut chutney.Naan was good. Fresh and crispy. Soft on the inside.Overall, the meal was VERY heavy. We only ate about half the curries. Usually when I go to an ayce Indian buffet, I can destroy like 2-3 plates easy. I was stuffed until dinner time and I didn't eat dinner that night. The food is delicious, but it is also very very heavy.

I had a great experience at J&M Cusine! They serve a variety of food that was flavourful and spicy. They had vegetarian and vegan options which was an added bonus and an a great dessert and drink menu. We tried: Kurkure Momos, Vada pav, Vegetable noodle burger, J & M special fries, Garlic Naan, Plain dosa, Chicken tikka and Chicken Biryani. For drinks and desserts we had there: Masala tea served in a clay pot cup, Indian coffee served in a clay pot cup, Rabri with gulag jamun, and Mango Lassi. The service was superb and honestly I can’t wait to come back!

Did not provide the south indian taste I was looking for. We ordered Dosa, idli and gulab jamun with rabri. The coconut chutney was just water with spices mixed in it. The idli that we received was not in proper shape (pics attached). I live in Timmins and I don't have any south indian food nearby. I frequently travel to Sudbury and I decided to try the one and only South Indian restaurant in Sudbury. Being a north indian myself - I eat more South Indian food than north indian food. But the taste was just not what I was looking for. The dosa masala was some random potato masala which didn't taste that good. It completely destroyed my craving for South Indian Food. Never going to this restaurant again! The service was good, its just the food that didn't give the authentic taste.

Previous week, I ordered chicken biriyani from here and this worst food item made me ended up in hospital. From past eight days, me and my friend is suffering from continuos vomiting, abdominal pain and upset stomach. I went to the hospital twice now including today and done my test. Doctor said me it's because of the uncooked chicken or vegetables, i got viral stomach infection flu. I am not able to eat anything from a week. Beware of this restaurant. Worst experience ever. Do not buy this item because I am suffering a lot now because of this.

The food here was AMAZING. The garlic naan was excellent and completely fresh-made. It was the best bread I have ever had at a restaurant. And that is just the beginning! The rest of the food impressed just as much as the initial bite of naan.There was very obviously a lot of care put into making these dishes. It all tasted very fresh and delicious.I will definitely recommend often.Also, the prices were excellent.

We had a wonderful lunch for the first time today at J&M. We met the owner and learned the story of J&M - which is very cool. He and his wife represent both the North and the South of India, so the variety of items on the menu is wide - and delicious! The flavours in the sauces popped and it was lovely to hav3 a S. Indian Dosa again, after many years. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant - if you’ve never tried Indian food before, this would be a great introduction or if you are a fan, you’ll be in heaven. We’ll definitely be back!
