Tooth of the Dogpound Creek Golf Course

Amazing course with an awesome mix of fun and challenging holes. Very well maintained. Awesome scenery. The greens were great, even for this early in the year. This has been my favourite course so far. Carts are a bit weak tho, maybe for the better lol. 10/10 course I will be back for sure.

Excellent course, especially when considering the value! Beautiful views and a challenging course make it a great experience. There are many holes that are target (links) style golf and others that are nice and open. It's a great balance that makes it fun for golfers of all levels. One of my favorite courses in the area and the staff are awesome!

Enjoyed playing this incredibly well maintained course, friendly staff, quick tough greens, wonderful views of mountains, grain fields, and changing fall colors. Would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful course. Hope to be back soon.

Great course, little bit of a tougher track than city courses but more than with the price here. Especially for the distance you drive to get her

The greens were in great shape, as was the whole course. Wonderful experience golfing there.

Golf course is great. Pretty good shape. Fun layout. The 3 star rating comes from the nickle-and-diming. Staff is friendly enough, but my big beef is that they charge $20 per person for the cart and you cannot take the cart off the cart path for 9 of the 18 holes. That's half the course! The fairways are wide so this can add up to quite a few stepsto get to your balls. The other beef is that they charge you $3 for ice to fill the ice bucket on the power cart. Really??? Lastly, you need to leave your cc to reserve, which is not specific to this golf course, but is still annoying.

Course was tough and pretty nice. Lose two stars because even if you're driving a golf cart you are walking a ton. One hole early in the course, a par 4 with a yawning massive fairway to the left, you can't drive on the fairway yet the fairway stretches about 200 yards from the cart path. So I had to walk from cart to ball to measure distance. Back to cart to get right club, back to ball, take shot, then back to cart. So about 800 yards of walking for one shot. I was flabbergasted by this design. Slowed the course right down and the fairway was nothing special at all. No reason to have people walking this far when u can easily just drive there.. I was soaked in sweat from one shot lol.. Cool design but we need to have the ability to drive in the fairways. 9 holes out of 18 you cannot drove on fairways. Ridiculous imo. Aside from that the course is nice. Pretty difficult. Greens were nice. If you could drive on the fairways I'd give it a 4.5 star. The absurd quantity of walking while having a cart removes 1.5 stars to a total of 3. If this is ever fixed ill change my rating.

I used to love this course. I understand cancellation policy’s but when a member of our foursome had to cancel last minute they made us pay the green fee. They have also raised prices you are paying premium prices even when half of the course is cart path only. Save yourself some money and just play in carstairs.
