The staff here are SO friendly and VERY knowledgeable! I had brought my 12 string in as I was having issues with one of the strings always breaking, and they took a look at it, gave me some suggestions on why it could be breaking/how to avoid it from breaking, and changed the broken string for me! All while doing these things, they were professional and friendly. Highly recommend this music store!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Literally in the parking lot doing this review. My first time buying a guitar and Chad made it a memorable one. Went to buy a guitar and left with that and everything else I needed to get started and he didn’t up sell me on things but just on sale stuff that would get me started. Definitely highly recommend going to Long & McQuade especially if you’re just wanting to learn as you’re made to feel comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!!

Blair Mcnally was phenomenally helpful and more welcoming than just about all of the other employees I've had interactions with. Seriously, give that man a raise!They have a great selection, and the website makes it easy to spec things out ahead of time. Plus, I don't feel like the employees are looking down their noses at me like the guys at a certain shop on Lasalle...;)11/10 - Would recommend

I've bought several guitars at this store. The employees here are incredibly nice people and so helpful. I love going here to talk about gear with the staff and playing new guitars to see how they feel. They even encourage you to grab guitars off the wall to test them out yourself.Amazing place.

Prices aren’t good, I’ve gone to many other guitar shops and have seen better guitars for cheaper. Some of the staff is very friendly, but some are extremely snobby and rude. Only good thing about this store is that you can play the overpriced guitars without someone nagging you every 5 minutes.

Not the best customer service on the sales floor. I asked some questions and felt pretty dismissed. I’m a musician. I know the drill. Women get treated badly at music stores. It’s a long standing running joke. No different here but the cash person was helpful at least. Way better experience at Jett Landry

I rented violin in this store, perfect condition when I got it. Friendly rental price and staff there are super super nice. When my bow was broken on the top of it I made a phone call to them the the one reached my phone helped to get me a brand new bow at store. I would recommend this store to everyone who love instruments.

I called them from Edmonton, Alberta today as they happened to have a particular pedal in stock, that had not even made it onto their shelf yet(limited edition Tech 21 MP40) that I was ever so eager to get. I happened to get Kevin C. on the phone. He maintained an excellent level of professionalism and also took my jokes in stride over the phone when I was ordering the pedal. And to boot, I ordered it late in the day. Kevin turned around and got my pedal out the door the same day and sent a personal email to me saying it shipped and he had the tracking number attached in the email. All within 20 minutes of my late in the day order. I haven’t set foot in the door of this establishment but my experience from across the country was nothing but excellent! Would recommend this store to anyone!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Awesome experience!I bought two guitars a few months ago, one for myself and one for my friend as birthday gift. The service was extremely awesome!!! Because I don’t know much about guitar, they helped me try almost all guitar they have and took around 1 hour.The server were really patient and nice! Will buy other things here in the future!
