Jasper Rock & Jade Shop

bought a green stone heart and a shark tooth just recently from this shop, and immediately after buying it; I was asked to show ID so my signature would match the one on the receipt. I was kind of shocked but still complied cause I was never that before, the woman had a condescending smile on but I still didn’t say anything and showed her my ID the women took a few seconds to check and then handed me my items. I also noticed that just a few minutes ago a white person also bought something but they never asked for their ID and I finally realized that I was racially profiled. I was embarrassed and humiliated by this experience. I felt uneasy showing them my support so I went back and returned the item and thankfully the return was easy, also the women was an older wrinkly over 60 white lady who “helped” me check out. The previous review is NOT taking down that photo, I want everyone POC to know that the racist person who accused me of fraudulent.Edit: diverse staff? All I saw were white faces behind the counter; that woman heart was black and dirty, she has sinned many crimes. The photo was maybe deleted but we all know how she looks. and their is previous bad reviews about the service towards POCSo who’s lying. Guess you are.

Very fun little place. It has more than just rocks and jade! There is also a section with kitchen tools as well as a small fudge counter.There are loose rocks, spheres, towers, and other carved shapes.

I got a selenite worry stone which had a sticker where your finger is supposed to go, I used for 15 seconds after buying and it broke. I was super sad and felt very angry with the store for even placing the sticker there in the first place let alone how quick it broke. It seemed as if it had been broken and they tried to cover it with a sticker. I am now more worried than before

If you’re going to jasper you have to stop here! Their products are amazing quality and there is something for anyone on any budget. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I was just in Banff and seen almost the exact same bracelet as the one shown for $4 more than it was here! I knew I had to get it, and don’t regret it at all. Great service, great products, great store!

I stopped in here when I saw some crystals in the window. It was very busy. The associates were teaching people about different stones and different things in their shop. It was interesting to overhear and also I learned some things I didn't know before.

Great prices on their stock. Even the very expensive pieces are very low price for such pieces. Staff is very knowledgeable on their stock to the point of being able to visually identify many rocks that don't have price stickers on them. Staff is also extremely friendly. It's good to see the staff in jasper have adopted a kill them with kindness" attitude in spite of all the lack of patience they've been faced with due to the customer service staff crisis."
