Highly recommended Aikido Dojo. Kim Sensei’s instruction is fantastic. His calm, attention to detail and patience helped me elevate my Aikido practice on a different level. My Ukemi has greatly improved since I joined the dojo. I always enjoy every single day of practice. I encourage travelling Aikidokas and those who moved in the city to come join us for practice and experience his instruction.

I had a great learning experience at North Delta Aikikai. It was nice to train with people devoted to explore the Art of Peace.Both Kim Sensei and Tse-Lynn Sensei are great aikidokas and teachers, exposing dynamic techniques in a simple manner for beginners as myself.

First and foremost Kim and Tse-lynn senseis are generous people and this translates to their teaching. I have trained with Kim sensei during many seminars and summer camps and I have always found our practice to be challenging and insightful. I have also attended his classes at camp and he has always created a welcoming and supportive environment to train in. I highly recommend their dojo.

Kim Sensei is kind, compassionate, clear, and helps make Aikido fun and harmonious. I have thoroughly enjoyed his classes and my relationship with Aikido has improved greatly since starting classes with him.

About a month ago, I went to North Delta Aikikai for drop-in practice.I wish I lived closer to this dojo to go practice regularly.The class size was about 10 students and everyone was welcoming. Kim sensei was very considerate about beginners (including me) and walked us through the basic postures/techniques and gave us some small tips, like the proper way to seiza. How to avoid injuries by being aware of your practice partner, yourself, and surroundings was highlighted during the practice as well.North Delta Aikikai is a very good place to start if you are like me, new to Aikido, and live nearby!

Kim Sensei is a fantastic Aikido teacher. He keeps Japanese traditions in his teaching. The North Delta Aikikai is a very welcoming dojo. Everyone is friendly, respects each other and the harmony of the dojo.

Aikido taught by a very experienced teacher and assistant. I have known Kim Sensei for many years and trained with him. I have also trained at a number of other dojos in Canada and overseas over the years. Don’t let Kim Sensei’s soft-spoken demeanour fool you. Kim Sensei is an outstanding, powerful martial artist and instructor. I highly recommend training under him. If you are new to Aikido I most recommend that you check out a class and speak to Kim Sensei or his assistant Tse-Lynn Sensei.

I was new to Aikido and my introduction to this has been great at North Delta Aikikai Aikido club. I definitely recommend this Aikido Dojo. Kim Sensei’s is an excellent teacher including at my level (and at all levels). The quality of the instruction has helped me learn many key lessons on the mat and off! This is great place to learn and grow!

I have personally trained with Kim Sensei for many years. His dedication to Aikido led him to the World Headquarters in Tokyo where he studied for several years. He brings a great depth of knowledge to his patient teaching style. You should give it a go...well worth your time.

Kim Sensei is a natually gracious teacher. As a beginner, I found the way he focused on reinforcing our form and flow during training incredibly valuable. He made sure to spend time with each of us individually and was very encouraging and patient. Highly recommend training with Kim Sensei if you have the opportunity!
