I called at the end of the day, needing a tow ASAP. The gentleman was over to my house within 30 minutes.I needed to go from my house to the local auto shop two blocks away. He tried boosting my truck first (having starting & electrical issues), which worked and offered to follow me to the shop to make sure my truck didn’t die. He even offered to give me a ride home. After everything, he didn’t charge me anything. After a very hard and unlucky month he was like a godsend! An absolutely amazing company with excellent customer service. I love being able to use local companies and support their businesses, and I will always use Northwood towing moving forward! 15/10!

WOW !!!!Our vehicle was 90 km from Hwy 17 on Hwy 527 in the middle of nowhere on a Saturday late pm. Broken front end.Tim picked Wayne up at the hotel on Sunday am and proceeded to pick up truckWe. we’re camping about an hour away in Dorion and as there were no car rental companies open on a Sunday he lent us his half ton to get back to our trailer until the truck could be fixed.He picked a truck repair bus. Preferred Auto, . They fitted us in and repaired the truck by end of MondayYou would be hard pressed to find a better quality business and deal with a caring man as TimThank you so much

I had a flat tire on Canada Day. I didn't expect to find someone who could help me change it on the holiday, but I decided to call around in hopes. Not only could someone come, they arrived about a half hour after I called. I can't say how much I appreciated the help, as having a vehicle is essential to me at this time.

Not a mechanic, but mechanically inclined company helped our driver fix an air leak, on a long weekend, that another Mechanic bailed on us when they said they would do the repairs.I recommend this company for all your Towing needs.

What a fantastic company. Reliable, timely, and caring service. Tim came so quickly, had my car up and towed in minutes to the repair shop, and even offered me a ride all the way home!! I cannot recommend them enough!

I called Tim and asked for a tow as I thought my starter was dead, Tim said he was busy but he said he would come and see if he could boost it. He was there in 10 minutes and pulled the cover off the battery and said there is your problem

Tim and his team are incredible, I have never had a tow service go above and beyond for someone they didn’t know. They took care of my dog while I sorted out my stuff. If I could give them 100 stars I would. Highly highly recommend this company. I can’t thank you enough for your help.

Pick up truck buried in mud at remote location.Amazing!! They took a job nobody else would take. removal of truck was performed with excellence, professionalism and courtesy. I wish there were more stars for this company! Tim was so helpful, and would have dropped everything to drive to Ignace to rescue us if needed. We got a tow from another company who dropped us at Tim's yard for the night, where we could plug in the rv. He fixed the mechanical problem for us in the morning. Our rv was never treated so well. Thanks, Tim and all the crew who worked around us. Excellent service, super friendly people. Edit: just had a phone call from Tim, the owner, to check up on us. That never happens!

My alternator died, and Tim let me order my part to his shop, for once I was towed to his shop. Was fast and staff were very helpful in my time of need. Highly recommend if you break down in this neck of the woods calling thunder bay towing.
