Wonderful meal and service. Fantastic squash soup to begin, followed by tasty prime rib, perfectly cooked, accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes and tasty green beans and other seasonal vegetables and finished with cranberry apple crumble and ice cream. It has been a few years since we were last at the restaurant. We will be back, with guests.

Delicious food, great staff! However they were understaffed, and it was unusually busy because of the Bala Cranberry festival. Overall a great experience! Would go there again!!!

Tiffany and Chef Ken hosted a private 3 course dinner for our group. The food was amazing and portions were generous. Service was also top notch; Tiffany was extremely friendly, courteous and ensured our evening was enjoyable. Thanks for the amazing dining experience!

Exquisite Fine Dining. This is the hottest reservation in Bala, so be sure to call ahead. Follow the road past the Kee to Bala, up the hill and park overlooking a beautiful view of Moon River at sunset. A little converted home with decorative stain glass that catches the last rays of sunlight in the evening. Opt to sit on the porch and listen to the forest. The food is delicious and service is elegant.I wanted to order everything on the menu, and I am sad I that I didn't. There is always next year!

Waited over 20 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. No bus staff which resulted in empty table left full of used plates and empty glasses and time taken away from staff waiting on guests. Meal portions were incredibly small, not like the video at all and pricing does not match website menu (charged more).

Always VERY tasty with awesome service provided by the owners: Chef Ken working the magic and Tiffany showcasing how attentive service can MAKE a meal. We've enjoyed Anniversaries, Special Birthday parties and other occasions, but really, it's just great to get out and get treated to special fare at 'The Moon'. Oh, and the view is pretty sweet too!

Tiffany & Chef Ken were a pleasure to work with. We ordered a themed catered dinner with less than a week's notice. They were not only happy to accommodate us but Chef Ken put together a mouth-watering menu that fit our budget and theme. Tiffany was very sweet to deal with and the food itself was incredible. Thank you both again!!!

A little gem in Muskoka, amazing food and amazing atmosphere. Right by the Bala falls so a walk before dinner is perfect. Make sure you reserve your table to make sure you get in.
