Have been a customer of Ryan's for 5 years now. He is the best in the business, super friendly and great family values. He introduced me to his homemade firestarters recently and they are much better than the store bought ones. They light easier and burn hotter, which got my fire started much quicker. I'll be switching over to these going forward!

Just today I purchased 5 bins of seasoned firewood from Ryan at Prairie Timber. Ryan was great to deal with, and very helpful during the delivery. After seeing my set-up, Ryan suggested some ways that would make future purchases easier from a delivery and eventual use point that were thoughtful and welcome. We wanted a large volume of wood for smoking on our new offset smoker. Ryan was very thorough asking questions regarding type of wood, split size, and moisture level. He kept the logs whole until the order needed filled so the wood wasn’t too seasoned. In fact, he kiln dried it for us to make it perfect for what I thought was a very reasonable price. Although he delivers, we opted to pick it up. He was very welcoming. He was very careful loading it into my truck to prevent damage. Afterwards we ended up chatting for a half an hour on all kinds of topics. He’s that nice of a guy. Highly recommend. I leave this review 5 months after purchase because we had a memorial weekend bbq and the smoke flavor we got from Ryan’s firewood was amazing and I remembered I needed to leave this review. Thanks again, 5 months later, Ryan, we’ll be reaching out when we need more!

Ryan and his family brought the firewood out, stacked it where I thought is was convenient and even left some unexpected kindling and firestarters. This is the source for firewood! We ordered 1/2 cord of ash. It was dry and has burned fantastic. A+++. Truly, we will use them again and again, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a firewood. I am so pleased to have been referred to Prairie Timber! As a first time wood stove owner, I had a lot of questions for Ryan, which he answered graciously and thoroughly! Ryan and his team delivered and stacked consistent, clean dry wood, kindling and fire starters. Enjoyed meeting them and intend to utilize their services in the future.
