Budget Car Rental

Excellent service @ Budget car rental @ Moncton airport.

First time since 2019 when I started renting under a corporate account where a reservation personel (a Lady) called out if there was any Peferred/Fastbreak members on queue. I was able to skip the line and was out of the airport in no time.

Booking on line with a representative who has broken English was the problem. The representative when I tried to get what I had initially requested it was going to cost me more money.

If I could give it a zero I would. We live in Regina SK and wanted to book a trip to visit my sister in Shediac NB. Our flight was scheduled to arrive around midnight and in precovid times our rent-a-car agency would have someone there until we arrived and we had no problems getting our car. When we tried to get a car this time no one was open that late except for Budget so we booked a car with them. However when we arrived at Moncton airport Budget was not open. A gentleman who was there trying to get his luggage told my wife that there had been no one there since at least 11:45. Fortunately our niece was awake and drove in from Shediac to get us. There were taxis operating and they told us it was a $65-70 fare. When we contacted BUDGET the next day the response was I needed my sleep so I went home." When we asked about where our car was we were told it would be there as long as they didn't have a bunch of customers before we got there. Our niece graciously gave us a drive back to the airport and when we complained to the person who said she was the owner

I booked more than 2 weeks prior and picked vehicle up on June 17. Budget had informed me at least four times, a malibu or equivalent. Our trip required a drive from Moncton to Miramichi and Halifax. On arrival all they had was a Hyundai venue. Car and driver describes this vehicle as good for city errands. Only one medium sized luggage fits in luggage area, the second takes up back seat. The vehicle was a disaster for what we required but we had to use it as nothing else was available. I would want the manager fired as saying a malibu or equivalent would be available is intellectually dishonest. I will never again rent from budget

We were able to rent a vehicle with Budget a couple of days before our arrival into Moncton, while all the other car rental places had no availability. The car was great, clean, and we got some great mileage out of it. The staff was friendly and helpful on both the pick up and the drop off. Overall, it was a great experience.

While I find the final price a bit high, I want to thank Deanna for her outstanding customer service. I have never experienced anything comparable. From start to finish, Deanna was thoughtful and gracious in all my needs and I was able to get a car easily despite multiple flight cancellations. So I would book here again despite the price - just becauser of her.

Budget added about 150 dollars worth of hidden fees to my final bill. This was an awful experience and a car the size of a shoebox that I drove for three days cost me nearly 800 dollars. The lady at the front desk was so rude and made check in a nightmare and added on more fees at that time. I will not be using budget again and will stay with Enterprise!
