Amazing place but the only negative is the odor from the sewage treatment plant, which is common in that region.

They finally completed the piers and resurfaced the parking lot! Unfortunately, now you have to pay for parking, $3/hr to a max of 3 hrs. If you are a resident of St. Catharines, you can get a yearly pass at city hall for $15, which is definitely worthwhile. The pier is a nice walk, and there are benches to sit on and relax, surrounded by water.
