Anita's Skin Care Spa

I have been a client of Anita’s Spa for a very long time. I usually see Lana but I have seen all 3 happy and positive ladies for various treatments. I feel at home when I go there, as I’m always greeted with enthusiasm and friendly kinship. Lana always goes above and beyond to make sure that I am always more than satisfied. Thank you team for always making me feel special.

I saw Lana today for hot stone massages and reflexology. She targets every problem area and relaxes the muscles. She is one of the best. I highly recommend seeing her.

I’ve been seeing Anita for facials for nearly 10 years. She is absolutely the best at what she does.The spa is so light, bright and welcoming. All of the staff are so friendly, it’s a fantastic place to visit for a bit of ‘me’ time. Anita’s facials are truly the best. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has helped me through a variety of different skin concerns related to pregnancy, aging, etc. She’s also got a great lineup of products available. I have been going to Anita’s Skin Care Spa for many years now and continue to be a client due to the excellent customer service. They genuinely care about your skin and will offer suggestions without any pressure. At this skin care spa I have had facials with Anita and Lana and can attest they are the best I have ever had. Lana also does an amazing job of reflexology. Anita’s offers a wide range of services and there is something for everyone. The staff are very cohesive, kind and welcoming, not to mention knowledgeable. This business is very clean, and there is plenty of parking. Often it’s hard to leave such wonderful pampering. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

Anita is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and can tailor facials to your specific skin concerns and skin type. All of the staff are lovely, and the spa is always beautifully decorated and spotless! I have seen Lana in the past for spa services and it was a lovely experience. This review is regarding the Sciton laser unit the spa offers treatment with. I decided I would treat myself to Forever Young BBL to help diminish some skin aging due to years of sun exposure as a lifeguard.My first treatment was a great experience. Lana is very through in her skin assessment and treatment recommendations. She was mindful to explain the process and keep me updated with each step of the process.My results after one treatment were amazing. They send you home with a post care kit and even call the next day to make sure all is well.I am beyond satisfied now after 2 treatments and will definitely go into maintenance mode 1 to 2 times yearly after the third treatment.The whole process has made me appreciate my skin health and it was a luxurious gift to myself.Thank you to Anita's Spa for their education and care.

BURNT SKIN WITH BBL LASERAnyone with skin of colour be careful. I went for a consultation for some dark spots from eczema around my mouth area. They did not warn me about any risks (especially with a darker skin type). I kept asking before the day of the procedure if it was safe and they kept saying it is completely safe, which may be true, but at least warn clients about the risks especially with darker skin tone. Was not professional at all. They just kept saying don’t stress and it won’t burn your skin. When I got the spot treatment done with the laser, it felt really hot and very painful which apparently is supposed to happen. After the treatment was done my face immediately was red everywhere and blistered on one side. I kept telling her that i feel like this was a burn and they said to put raw ice on my face to cool it down when you go home which is NOT what your supposed to do on a burn because it can make it worse. They seem like with the laser they did NOT know what they are doing especially with skin of colour and how to handle it. I used everything they gave me in the post care kit. They kept blaming me and telling me that I may have peeled the skin off to early or something. I went to my physician and they confirmed it was first degree burns. They left me with dark laser marks all around my mouth, and gave me a lightening lotion to improve the appearance . I seen a dermatologist and they told me it is going to take a while to go away (many months). It is and looks ridiculous. I would avoid it whatsoever if you are people of colour as we are more at risk and they clearly do not what they are doing, and try to justify everything even though they know they messed up. Avoid, avoid, avoid!! or DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING! they do not know the risks for darker skin types. Completely disappointed

Had an amazing experience at Anita skin care spa. Lana was amazing, warm and inviting. She made me feel comfortable and did an incredible job with fascial . My skin is glowing..The space was clean and beautiful, the people were friendly and the set up felt classy and comfortable. The receptionist was also lovely and sent me home with complimentary hot chocolate on this chilly day. 10/10 experience. I will 100%be back , in fact I already scheduled my next appointment. Anita I'd a very kind lady and this place is very nice to go. I wanted to get my wife some moisturizer that she stocks (which is very reasonably priced by the way), but she was out. She offered to place and order and set aside for me. In the lead time for it to be delivered, she offered me samples for my wife to get by until it arrived. She didn't have to do that but anyway. I value good customer service, this place does it well.
