I feel that the customer service and satisfaction has decreased drastically over the years. I have been with this clinic since they opened years ago. Doctors are great though! On the other hand, the clerks who are on the desk make you feel like you are unimportant and not worth their time. One experience was when my dog was going to get their vaccine at the back but she did not tell me that she was going to grab her from me as I was carrying her. As she was about to grab my dog, my dog felt threatened and wanted to bite. She pulled away and proceeded to say you could've said that she bites". Mind you

Dr Kahlon is patient and gentle with my anxious dog. He takes the time to get her to get comfortable with him before he does a thorough examination. I also appreciate that they do not push products or services on you but allow you, as the pet owner, to make decisions based on their recommendations.

Where do I begin. My pet had a number of health issues in his life and the Silver Heights team in each visit treated him with such caring and compassion. They went above and beyond what I could ever have hoped for or imagined in the care of my dog Kratos. Every single time and no matter who it was at the clinic that was handling him. They were always so very accommodating for him, all the way up until the end of his life. I am and will always be so very incredibly grateful for the unparalleled level of care the gave to my dog.

Staff were very friendly and accommodated my sweet boy Oreo with helping to ease his anxiety of being there and with being around other dogs. It can be good or bad depending on the meet so they allowed us into a room away from the others in order for me to calm him. Even the vet himself tried several techniques to ease keep him calm. Oreo seemed to like the people there which did help a bit, his trilling was a bit loud at some points.

We do not live in Winnipeg but happily make the drive in from Stonewall to Silver Heights for care for our girl. We have gone for urgent care and for annual health checks and vaccinations, we have NEVER had to wait for care or services. The staff are always very kind and compassionate. Would HIGHLY recommend.
