I had really good service on the phone and when I arrived. I'm only ranking it 3 stars because it is a smaller store comparatively to other Soft Mocs I've seen.

Terrible customer service. Walked in the store (the only customer) and the only clerk out front immediately disappears in the back for a while. I wait for her to reappear and approach her asking if she could size check a certain style to see if it came in a men’s 13. Without moving a muscle behind the till (directly in front of the computer where she could have checked against the boot in my hand) she said “most shoes only go to a 12.” This made me pause, and then ask if she was able to check it. She then said some excuse about Converse only going to 13, and still did not take the shoe from me. I proceeded to point out another shoe, which I had purchased from that store a couple months prior, that went to a 13. Her response was “well ya it depends on the style.”...Ya! No kidding! So check the shoe I’m asking you to check! I left frustrated and immediately looked on Soft Moc’s website. Sure enough, the boot came in a men’s 46 EU (13-13.5). I’m used to having to get the store to order my size. That was an easy sale, even more surprising since she probably works on commission. Maybe she was having a bad day, so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, but that was pretty brutal. Two stars instead of one as I still like some of the products.

One of my favorite place to buy shoes.

Store associate assumed I couldn’t afford the shoes I was looking at based on my looks/race. Asked to confirm with me if I saw the price on the shoes I was looking at.

Sales associates didn’t say hi to me until I needed something - then once I helped them find the item the one continued to talk about me at the till and how she didn’t know what I was talking about. I was looking for the all white converse I saw online.

Online inventory never seems to match store inventory when I come to SoftMoc locations. Staff are always friendly, though. Make sure you call in advance if you want something specific.

Jessica helped me pick out a pair of sandals I had been searching for quite some time. She was patient and brought me out at least five different pairs to make sure I had the right style and fit. Helpful and always smiling, she juggled helping me and another customer as well. Good selection for me and my wife. Thank you very much.

Awful service. So many people working and not one person approached me, even when I had shoes in my hand. I even approached THEM and the girl stared at me like what do you want". I worked in retail for 15+ years so I know how to treat customers and this is not it"

Good shoes, decent prices. Only go here if you know exactly what you want and plan on leaving immediately. Bad mannered workers and management that can't do simple transactions. Perhaps they have computers so old that they outlive my grandparents. But being unable to split a transaction is somthing every retail place should have access too, it's even more irritating when they where already treating us poorly from our arrival. They also will just take shoes away even if you are deciding what ones you want or are trying them on still.

By far the best softmoc in Calgary! They have new staff. I’ve shopped at this softmoc for years but recently the store feels so lively! The people working there are respectful. They’re eager to help but they not in your face either. They are always trying to make the customer satisfied. honestly this location is underrated, majority of the people who walk in that location are angry business people, I know I couldn’t stay relaxed all day if I was them.
