Amazing carousel, so beautiful! Featuring all different parts of Canada! Free popcorn on the site! Great location, ample parking, close to movie theater and restaurants!

Pride of Canada Carousel
The entire carousel including its immediate surrounding is a piece of art. We were there to admire the carousel first while taking close shots of many individual pieces. We then couldn't resist our desire of riding it. This is definitely not just for kids.There were also picnic tables on the side that's very convenient for those who are waiting for their friends/families on the carousel or who are simply there to chill.

2023 July 4.5★Right at downtown Markham, this carousel is probably one of the best designed carousel in North America.This carousel is the signature piece of Downtown Markham's $30 million public art initiative and The Remington Group's tribute to our great nation, our community and sustainable development.The Carousel's 44 colourful Canadian characters were created by Canadian-born junk art" sculptor Patrick Amiot and beautifully painted by his wife Brigitte Laurent

Each seat is handcrafted to be a cool & unique piece. 2 rides for $5 Or 10 for $20. Great value. Free parking and a small outdoor ice rink. Kids loved it. Cool thing is only the kids need tickets. Accompanied adults ride Free!

Yesterday was Labor Day holiday, also the last day of summer holiday for the kids ! We have great fun at Downtown Markham. kids enjoyed the rides at the Pride of Canada Carousel. Each the different characters in the Carousel is a piece of art work by different artists. The kids found it so interesting . It's better to buy 10 tickets at one time , we used them all yesterday.

Pride of Canada Carousel
Such a cute and fun carousel, the design of all the characters is a wonder, especially considering they're all made from recycled and found materials. It can also be booked for private events as we found out since there was a little girl's birthday party happening when we went. Party guests get to ride unlimited times, but still open to the public. We went on Mother's Day and it wasn't too busy, didn't have to wait at all to go on. Parking is free.
