Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill
Not that impressed. Passed couple times always seems to stand at the front for 5 - 10 minutes before anyone comes up to seat us either busy or empty inside. This last time our bread buns were rock hard and stale/ moldy tasting, one of the 1/4" chickens were more like a 1/16th and also didn't smell or taste with right so it wants eating. Asked for gravy instead of the sauce and was given sauce and gravy that were less than half full then got charged for sides of gravy bcuz they gave us both. Seems to get worse and more expensive every time we come her... Needless to say I we won't be back!"

Our lovely server Faith not only was amazingly pleasant but she handled our needs for allergy sensitive meal for myself with kindness and grace. Even the GM came out to ensure that the options selected would be ok and the kitchen would be made aware to be careful of cross contamination. When the meal came, there had been some issue with the side, but again the GM and made things right. Thank you Bus and your entire team for an amazing night out during our vacation.

We ordered a large order for delivery. Well, the food was good, but they forgot the gravy and salad dressing. Hard to eat a huge salad with no dressing. Plus mashed potatoes if you don't like them plain. It's quite a glaring mistake, especially since I ordered online and the order is recorded clearly and can be double checked. I phoned to complain, but they wouldn't refund anything. Just offered a $5 credit for a future order which I declined because I wouldn't risk ordering again in case I got another meal with missing items and have only a $5 credit for it. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

The chicken is very juicy but I am not a fan of the dipping sauce. I like the wings and ribs and most especially the multigrain roll.

After arriving an being seated immediately we had the waitresses walk past us 3 times in 10 minutes. Without saying a word.At 1435 we decided to walk across to applebee 's where we were seated immediately and had our doing orders in within 2 minutes.Well below the standards I expected. Calgary has much better service.

I have been here three times now and each time it's disappointing. Last time I ordered from the takeout service. I had the half chicken dinner with fries and gravy. I also ordered coleslaw which costs extra. The chicken was a decent sized portion but the white meat was very tough.Certainly nothing like falling off the bone; more like it had run a long race. Didn't have much rotisserie flavour. The fries were cold and limp. Coleslaw very good. Pickup service was quick. I phoned the order in and got it 15 minutes later. But the food was only passable and didn't have much of the Swiss Chalet flavour I remember. For what you get I thought it was kind of expensive. My meal was over $20.

Ordered a Festive Special a couple of weeks ago online and they didn't include the butter, sour cream, or chives for the baked potato. Despite the bad reviews, I figured I'd give it a shot again since it's always possible for an off night. This time they forgot to include the cranberry sauce and butter. I think that in general, Swiss Chalet is decent (I'd give it a 4.5 for what the restaurant is)--ordering online is a breeze and the food is as good as I'd expect. This location, however, seems to have some ongoing issues. I've done take out from other restaurants and have never had to check my order (and only had something missing a couple of times). If you're going to do a pickup order here though, you need to check before you leave.

Terrible terrible terrible service. One server on our side of the restaurant. Asked us after we just started to eat how the meal was. Great tasting meal. Didn't bring cutlery and butter for buns until food was on the table. And had to ask for them. Had to flag down waiter to refresh our drinks. Manager should have had more servers hired for a Saturday pm meal. Very dusappointed

I was there on Sunday Feb 16th 2014 they are quick to have us seated which is good. they did not let us sit in quit corner where we liked to dine. they force us sit close to door where you need your winter jacket while eating, every time door open it gave us a bit cold air. my steak was like a rock they forgot to give me hammer to break that. I have too much to write but I decided let forget about this restaurant............

Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill
Staff was polite and hard working but the food is very sub standard, tasted like it was prepackaged and reheated. Clean environment, the building is brand new, at least was at the time of writing, and the menu is what you'd expect. One plus side, there usually appears to be seating available without a wait, but that may be an indication of how poor the food is.
