Lakeview Park Beach

If you are looking for a comfortable beach visit or just a quick outing with friends, family, this is definitely a great choice! The walking paths are nice with the old trees providing ample shade and ground allowing dogs to roam around as they please. Picnics are great here because beach and the surrounding areas are always well maintained by the city. Nice, clean beach with picnic tables, playground and splash pad for the kids and lots of 4 hour free parking! Ice cream truck, and restaurant during the summer.

This is a small beach along Lakeview park but it’s beautiful and well maintained. The best is to get there by to morning on a busy weekend and spend great time with the family. The kids love the sand and can make sandcastles. There is also some picnic tables just behind for bigger groups to have food. Nice for a day visit with friends and family.

This beach and park are both very nice!There’s always plenty of people there during summer. There’s a nice splash pad and play area for the kids. There are benches in the park, a small food court type of area, washrooms and changing rooms at the beach, and a nice sandy shore.The water is amazingly clean for people to enjoy!

One of the best places to relax and collect your thoughts. There is a parking lot right at the edge of the beach that is perfect to relax with a coffee and take in the beautiful blue water and sunshine. Also you can walk end to end for a 1.4 km scenic walk. The white sand beach s perfect for sunbathing and beach volleyball/badminton!

It was a good experience.Nice place.Close to the beach.Green grasses.Nice view.But only at the time we got there were not enough places to park the cars!

Nice beach park for a refreshing weekend.However, the lake front is susceptible to algal bloom in late summer (August) which could lead to stinky smell in area.But other than those few days, it's a good place to be on a lazy Saturday afternoon.Profile grade of jogging track increases in one direction thus could be stamina tester for casual runners.You have grassy greens as well as Sandy lake front, giving hybrid feel/ enjoyable to experience both in one visit.Barbecue not allowed, but has good sitting canopies and benches.All in all, when weather is good, algal bloom is absent, this is a perfect weekend outing place. Parking is FREE.But certainly there are better places in east or west of this park if you want more fulfilling experience.

Amazing place to bring the family. After all the Reno's and additions, they have an awesome playground with a splash pad for the kids. A huge walking trail along the lake which is beautiful and plenty of space for a picnic. They even have a small canteen where you can get ice cream and other hot foods. Connected to the canteen there's a grill and lounge. I haven't been there yet but plan to go as everyone looks like they're having a great time.

Great day for a walk in the park, along the beachfront, and a refreshing drink on the patio. Lots of folks enjoying the day.
