Happy Hound

We brought Bruno home in April after a long wait for our new family member but it was absolutely worth it. Not only is Bruno a chill, smart and adaptable pup but having access to our puppy trainer post adoption has been absolutely a lifesaver. Happy Hound is incredible in so many ways. My husband and I went to their open house late 2022 in hopes of finding our third furry family member, and we were amazed by their professionalism, the love for their animals and the overall incredible experience that we had. Our sweet Willow is now 4.5 months old and has been a true gem in our home. Her calm temperament is unmatched, our training has been breezy and that's due mostly to Happy Hound's approach with their pups.Willow arrived in our home from the 8 week program and we followed all of the tips and tricks provided by Happy Hound at our 2 hour training session once she got home.Willow's potty training was breezy, she was using a bell in no time to alert us that she wanted to go outside. Even more impressive is that by following the tips provided by Happy Hound, I'm happy to report that not one item in our home (including shoes!) has been affected by her teething. She is truly one of a kind when it's come to training.She was leash shy at first, but once she got going she became a big walker! She loves to walk and has been gentle with all of those that she's come in contact with, including several sizes of dogs, seniors and children. What a superstar!!We love Willow and she's been the best addition to our family. Thank you Happy Hound!

Sue and the team at Happy Hounds are amazing, they are exceptional breeders and trainers. We have a 5 month old Golden Doodles who is well natured and a joy to be with every day. All largely due to the great advice and care provided by the Happy Hounds team.

We love our Happy Hound pup! Very glad we ended up going with Happy Hound - worth the wait. When it was our time to pick our puppy, we had three to choose from and our pup, Comet, walked right over to us and plopped himself into my lap. He’s been like that ever since - the most cuddly dog we’ve ever had, and we love him so much. If we ever decide to get another dog, will gladly go with Happy Hound again!

We have kept all the routines and schedules you have taught her and she is following everything so incredibly well!From my very first warm and welcoming conversation on the phone and early emails with Sue, to our first visit to snuggle your puppies to ensure allergies would not be an issue, to you being so accommodating with our puppy application and reservation, to our puppy selection visit last weekend when you and Brianne surprised us and made all our family’s wishes come true by letting us bring Paisley home a week early to Kristen and Marcia’s EXCEPTIONAL and comprehensive one on one training session, we are completely and absolutely so grateful and impressed!Our puppy has the most gentle, beautiful, playful and happy disposition and it is a testament to your exceptional breeding and training protocols!Thank you thank you thank you!!

We are so happy to have come across Happy Hounds. We adopted our girlJune in March 2020 (Tramp & Maggie’s pup), and she is absolutely incredible. So well mannered and an absolute sweetheart to her core.

We adopted Thebaud from happy hound in April 2020. We are currently in Nova Scotia and have been for last two months. We just boarded thebaud for the weekend at Oceanmark K9 resort ( an awesome spot btw) in Chester and had him groomed there. They made a point of coming out to see us when we picked him up to tell us what a well behaved pup and commented on his temperament. They found it hard to believe he was only 8 months old and this has been the first time we have left him overnight.As first time pet owners, our pup from Happy Hound has been a pretty smooth transition for us and Thebaud seems like a pretty happy boy as well.Also wanted to say that Happy hound also cares a great deal about the pups after you take them home. They take such care of them from birth to adoption and then even after.We can't thank Happy hound enough for Thebaud. He has been soo much fun and an amazing addition to our family
