TirePlus Signature Tire Ottawa

Woke up and car would not start, finally got it started. Called my regular place and found out they closed and then could not get into anyplace until next week. Drove into TirePlus Signature Tire Ottawa owner tells me come back at 130 PM. I did, he diagnosed what was wrong really fast (new battery and spark plugs). Gave me a really decent quote. Had to wait for parts but then they arrived they got the work done fast an professionally. I will be back I appreciate a mechanic who knows when they are doing instead of a slick salesmen trying to make you pay for thing you do not need I appreciate the honesty and will be back as a regular customer.

Very fast service. I stopped by in the afternoon and said I wanted good quality tires. They ordered them and called me back in to install the tires that same day. I was standing outside conducting a business call when the owner brought me a chair to sit on.I explained Google reviews to the owner as I am certain he has many more customers than what is seen here... and he should ask them to leave reviews.One tip - ladies be prepared to be looked up and down; either dress conservatively or have good body image... I’m not convinced that calling the owner out will change this habit.

I have been going to is Ibraham for around 5 years now and he has been an excellent mechanic for me. I agree with others that he takes a bit getting used to, but if you get to know him he is very loyal to his customers. He does not over charge, often finds cheaper solutions to complete needed repairs and will even advises against repairing certain things depending on how long you are planning on keeping your vehicle. He kept my vehicles going until the rust got them - 14 and 15 years respectively!

I needed winter tires badly and they were able to find me some and install them the same day where other shops were quoting me a two week wait. The owner is a bit gruff and I think that has negatively affected his reviews but once you look like you're a serious customer, he's great.

I took my car there for a tire change since I had a popped tire contacted them to see if they had my size. They told me they did but it would have to be ordered the next day since I called 1 hour before closing. I towed my car there overnight and left my phone number clearly visible in the windshield. I contacted them early the next day to inform them that as we spoke h tbh e previous day my car was in the lot waiting for a tire change. The staff said it was all good they were getting in it.#1 They called me letting me know that they actually didn’t have the tire size I needed but that they could put a bigger tire. I agreed because I needed my car back. And he was nice enough to let me know I needed to change 2 tires not 1. No issue there other than saying yes to having the same tire.We changed 5 calls in total from me letting them know my car was there and then letting me know my car was ready.#2 the problem came when it was time to pick up my car the staff told me they did a fluid change and they had to charge me extra. No where throughout the 5 calls did he ever mentioned anything when I informed them that I had very clearly visible steering wheel fluid in the front passenger seat and that I or they could’ve use it instead, the staff got rude and was incredibly unfriendly to the person that came and picked up my car.They had my number all day a simple phone call could’ve let them know to proceed or not. No customer likes to get surprised charges.

Owner is very disrespectful to customers and the people that work there I will never ever go back there

Been taking my car to Tire Plus for about 4 years now and very satisfied with the service. The owner takes some getting used to....yes he's short and gruff (borderline rude) but also very straightforward and frank. It was a bit of a turnoff the first time I went but now I appreciate the no-nonsense approach. They are very transparent and upfront about the pricing for repairs and when they identify other work that needs done you don't get the same pressure tactics you see at most places. They've been good about offering different options for repairs, especially since my car is reaching the end of it's life - as the owner said to me once all this stuff costs too much already"."

Worst ever experience.Not recommended at all.The store manager even misbehaved with me.

We used to take our vehicles here until we moved to a different part of town and started using a shop closer to us for the convenience. Big mistake. The service at TirePlus is exceptional and unparalleled. The owner is straightforward and no nonsense, which we always appreciate. Don't listen to the other reviews about the owner; I don't want a sales guy fixing my car, I want a professional mechanic who tells it like it is. We never get too much pressure, we are given honest options based on price vs. quality, they get sh*t done quickly, and the work is top notch. We highly recommended this shop and are going to keep coming here regardless of the fact that it's across town.
