Ordered a caesar, classic burger with a side if the daily soup (lamb, chickpea?), and the special pulled pork sandwich with fries. Everything was fantastic - really delicious. Service was also fantastic. Highly recommended if you're on the island. Next time I'm on the island I'll be back (and hopefully get to checkout their dinner / pizza).

We love that it's pet and kid friendly, making it a great spot for families to enjoy a meal together.If this isn’t enough already, check out their prices. What inflation? We are constantly shocked at the amount of food and quality for what they charge.But what really makes Jo's special is the people behind the restaurant. The owners Jo and Alex have poured their heart and soul into creating a truly exceptional dining experience, and it shows in every aspect of the restaurant. From the welcoming staff to the ever changing delicious specials, everything at Jo's is top-notch.Sadly, it’s with a heavy heart that we recently discovered Jo and Alex have recently sold the business and will be moving on as of September. While we're sad to see them go, we're grateful for the memories we've made at Jo's and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors. If you haven't had the chance to experience Jo's for yourself, we highly recommend that you do this summer!

I would say it is the best restaurant (not even one of) on the island - though there is not so many choices anyway, but still, they can make excellent food.I would recommend wings with honey ＆ siracha sauce. The glaze is amazing, though a bit spicy, but it will tempting you bite again and again. Tomato soup is also wonderful, it's a kind of fusion food which mixed a bit Thailand Tom Yum flavor, good for summer. Burgers are wonderful with soft but crispy buns.They have special price for different foods everyday, and all wine sales in an acceptable price (6.99 per glass / 25 per bottle).The service is very good also, Jo himself is nice and kind. Unforgettable memories here.

We missed Jo's the first time we visited the small complex Jo's is located at. It was just after 2pm and they wouldn't be serving dinner until after 4:30. We decided to stop by for lunch yesterday, and enjoyed a couple of spicy chicken burgers. I then had a look at their breakfast menu. I turned to my partner and gestured to the multitude of Eggs Benedict choices on the menu. I use Eggs Benedict as my bar for breakfast quality. We decided breakfast at Jo's must happen.This morning we came back. I ordered The Jo. A sriracha based hollandaise sauce topping the perfectly poached eggs sitting on chorizo sausage slices and served with damn good spiced hash browns. Let's just say Jo's raises the bar for me.My partner had waffles with walnuts and wiped cream, along with maple sausage. She very much enjoyed it. I'm strictly a savoury breakfast fan (no maple on my bacon etc) so the maple sausage was not my taste, but the waffles were very tasty.I would recommend this place again and again. I think we might make eating here a habit and visit from North Vancouver as often as we can. Jo (if that wasn't Jo, he was clearly in charge) remembered us from the previous night and was incredibly personable, and the wait staff was fantastic. Highly recommend.

JO’S PLACE, Pender island, BCThis restaurant is located in the centre of the Driftwood centre mall, near the Talisman bookstore, the Liquor store and the Bakery…Several of us who work around the mall had the pleasure of being taken out for lunch by our employer, Davie, who owns the mall, a few months ago…Jo has obviously put an inordinate amount of time into the dishes available on the menu, in terms of how the items are prepared, flavoured and served…All our meals came in a timely fashion, were fresh, generous in terms of portion size, very colourful and artfully presented, and of course, delicious to eat! Jo has obviously drawn on his extensive background in this industry to fine tune what he feels customers will enjoy during their visits to his establishment. On this day, we had the pleasure of having Jo’s partner Alex, act as our hostess/ server. She effortlessly catered to our every need all throughout the meal from the moment we sat down at our booth and over the course of our stay there. It could not possibly have been any better a dining experience! Thanks to all the staff who took part in it…well done!John k welsh , Coquitlam, BC

A wonderful surprise to find this gem on Pender Island. We stopped by for lunch on our way home after being recommended by a friend, and it exceeded our expectations! Super friendly and quick service. So great that you can choose breakfast or lunch all day. A fantastic menu with lots of variety that made it hard to choose, but all of us loved our selections. The Duck salad and the Yorkshire pudding sliders were incredible with great texture and flavor combos. Definitely worth visiting, next time we will be sure to have breakfast!

I am amazed by the burger and Friday special. The burgers are amazing and kids enjoyed the kids meal. Highly recommend.Thanks Joe and Alex. You guys are fun and awesome. Sorry about the mixup in the order. You guys were gracious about it.The place was packed but Joe was very nice in finding us a place.Clean and friendly.
