Shoppers Drug Mart

Called the pharmacy 3 times today. The first time the pharmacist said “pharmacy please hold “. 25 minutes later I hung up. The second time same thing. Pharmacy please hold and 30 minutes wait. And the third time pharmacy please hold and another 30 minute wait. How hard is it to pick up the phone and say we’re busy call back in a couple hours? Zero for customer service! Incompetent *****

They need to fire that racist pharmacist lady right away. I was speaking nicely to her about my prescription from another pharmacy and she legit ask me is that a real pharmacy? Like are you kidding me? I’m legit just want my birth control pills up to date? Whats with the sassy attitude? She also spit somewhere behind the counter when I’m finding my prescription. Bless the people who come here for prescription. I give respect to everyone but I can’t stand that old middle age lady pharmacist with fake thin eyebrows with wrinkled skin attituding to every customer like that.

We came from QC for travelling in Toronto, and our daughter suddenly had an allergy. So we found this shoppers as the most closest one and asked the pharmacist, a gentleman, who was on duty there that what should we do for the little girl.The pharmacist was really nice and professional, he well checked our daughter and answered all questions from us, even gave the details about went to hospital. Thank you very much for the help Mr. , we hope everything goes well on you =)

DO NOT come to this pharmacy! I stood at the prescription drop off counter for almost 10 minutes while 4 pharmacists completely ignored me and continued to help other customers who clearly came after. Have we forgotten the basics of customer service. If someone had at least made eye contact and acknowledged me it would have gone a long way. A simple “hi, I’ll be right with you” is very impactful.I literally had to say “excuse me” to the pharmacist who was about to take yet another customer before me. Get it together Shoppers. Customer service just isn’t what it use to be. Wow!

I've been going here for 10+ years and have had generally pleasant/professional interactions with the pharmacists, however, they seem to be perpetually understaffed. It makes it impractical to use their services. It's normal to drop off a prescription and have to wait 4-5 hours. Even my doctor has commented on how difficult it is to reach the pharmacy staff.I hope things improve.

Got some real questionable pharmacists working at this location. Got my booster here on March 1st and they forgot to register my shot into the system until I called 3 weeks later. And when they did register my shot, they registered the wrong vaccine. The pharmacist needs to be reported. Very questionable behavior.Edit: My wife also got her booster at Shoppers but at a different location, and she received a hardcopy of the temporary vaccine confirmation right after. I also received an email confirmation almost immediately when I had my shots at Walmart. When I got my booster shot at this location, I received none of those. I called the next day asking for confirmation of some sort but the pharmacist said they don't send out confirmations of any form and I just have to wait a couple days for the system to update. Well, maybe you should start giving out vaccine confirmation so you don't ever forget to submit it. Also this just shows how neglectful this pharmacist can be: she didn't even bother checking the system the first time I called.

I’ve been a patient for just about 20 years and after the most recent ownership change this pharmacy has gone downhill. Good luck ever getting thru on the phone even just after opening. Customer service is atrocious, they blatantly ignore anyone in line or in drive thru. There are a couple good longtime pharmacists still working there (Nisha and May) Who offer excellent personable service but after 20 years I’m about to take myself and my child who has complicated medical needs to another location. I write this at 9:35 am, still on hold, after 30 minutes, with zero acknowledgment. Mine and my child’s prescription CANNOT be renewed online, I feel like I’m being held hostage. They NEED TO DO BETTER. Horrible. After so many years of first name basis care, I just feel invisible like we don’t matter and there is no urgency to prevent medication running out. We used to be a priority, now just another number. No sense of community there at all. Sad really.

Very bad experience. The lady at the pharmacy this afternoon , she was racist and left people waiting at this area for vaccine . No one was being taken care of . I booked my appointment at 1:20 and waited waited . No one ever came up to assist and already know people are waiting . At 1:44 I asked the other worker and got the same answer is kept waiting. Then what is the point making a time slot appointment online ? And this other worker named Brandon, he said I can either wait another 30 mins or he can cancel for me, so is that how you guys treat people when you guys are already late ? I had good experience with all other shoppers around my area but except this one. Ridiculous
