New Residence Hall

Location is great in the city! We booked the suite (with living room, no kitchenette, just a microwave). There was a connected underground parking which was $20 a day. Close to amenities and Old Montreal was about a 20 min walk away. The room was functional which was our expectations, it is a student residence during the school year. Staff were all friendly and were easy to communicate with.

Stayed as a hotel guest. The rooms and hallways are quite run down and are not cleaned very well. There seem to be problems with the plumbing (toilet didn't flush in the first room we were given; in the second room, the shower is either too hot or too cold). The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating, though.

Great rooms for the conference hall and breakout presentations that we attended. The screen in the breakout room could have been a little larger but was legible enough. The carpets on the way to the conference area are showing the effects of the feet of many students over the years.

The room was very comfortable but the washrooms need to be renovated... The location to the downtown is very good... Walking distance... The breakfast which is included with the price is good.... The cook is fantastic and very friendly.... I forgot his name but he is from Fiji

Spacious rooms as far as university residency goes. Wonderful staff at reception. So much natural light throughout restaurants and cafeterias. I love that there is a piano in the lobby/common area. It is very important to remember that this is a university residence and NOT a hotel by trade. Of all the residences we visited, this was by far, the best one. Elevators worked just fine! Pets are not allowed. #localguide

Big rooms with lots of space in them. The room was modernized but the washroom was extremely old and stained. The included breakfast wasn't great and there was a cockroach on the table. The lady came over right away and dealt with it. I would stay again for a cheap place to stay but the second day we went out for breakfast and wouldn't eat there again.

The rooms is nice and has lots of space. The washroom is large, and includes a hair dryer. From the upper floors the view is spectacular. My favorite part is the location. The hotel is connected to an underground mall. Food in the dining hall is tasty. I recommend their comfort food" meals."

I don't usually write reviews, but thought management should know my experience at this new Residence Hall. I found that some of the staffs are rude, or maybe this is what is expected from management.I was told by their staff to sanitize my hands every time I take ONE step out of the front door. On moving day, I dropped my daughter's belongings off beside the front door as requested by their staff, parked the vehicle across the street, came back, sanitized my hands and started to move stuff to the hallway to wait for elevator, but every time I take ONE step out to get stuff, I was told to sanitize my hands, I asked the staff if he is serious, as I only take one step out, he said it's company policy. So I did what I was told, dropped whatever I was holding, sanitize my hands and moved on. Company Policy or lack of common sense?On moving out day, 2 out of 4 elevators were out of service, and they didn't allow anyone to use the moving elevator. Seriously, on moving out days, staff or management didn't bother to make sure elevators are working properly prior to moving out days?I was told to move my vehicle out of the driveway immediately by a rude staff on a summer day. I was asked to help pick up some stuff for a friend in Montreal (I am not from Montreal, found really frustrating driving around in this city, but just happens that I was in the neighborhood), my contact said she knows where the New Residence Hall is, so we agreed to meet there, but as soon as I pulled up to get the stuff (nothing illegal fyi) and got my trunk open, a staff charged out and demanded that I leave immediately, I ask her if she could give me just 1 minute, she said NO and continue to demand that I leave immediately. So i left.Not to put Montreal down, I just find that some of the staff in this place are rude, not to mention that it causes $1400+ per month for 1/2 of a room, I hope not all the places are like that in Montreal.

The cleaning service is horrible they only give you towels and also there is always noise upstairs and around you. The doors don’t block any noise but the beds and the breakfast is good

I went for a conference here. Lovely place!
