If you are visiting Brigus, this is one place to make sure to check out. They have a huge range of home decor items, all arranged in thematic groups. Plus, they have an ice cream parlor with excellent food at even better prices.

Lovely gift shop! Lots of home decor and also clothes and accessories. They also have a cafe with food, drinks, and ice cream. The hot chocolate here is very yummy with flavored syrups and whip cream! This place is a most visit in Brigus! So iconic! They also switch out their stock with the seasons so it’s always good to stop by every couple of weeks.

Lots of nice things at the Merchantile. I've been there several times and have bought many gifts. Prices are a little high for some stuff and they seem to cater mainly to tourists. I'll be back for sure.

Favorite place to visit in Brigus for food and shopping. The sandwiches, soup, cheesecakes and milkshakes are all amazing. Reasonable priced menu. Lots of parking. 2 flights of stairs to reach the main floor. I don't recall seeing a wheelchair accessible access point. If mobility is a concern, call or message them first to make sure.

Beautiful location and beautiful merchandise. The beverages and food looked beautiful but unfortunately did not have dairy-free options. Would suggest having milk alternatives even just for coffee.

Omg! They have more things to buy in there than the whole of Newfoundland! Looks like they converted an old school into a mega mall of goods. Some down home goods but mostly imported wares from you know who! Was fun to explore!
