Lord Elgin Fish & Chips
I've ordered here a few times and this, hands down, has to be one of the best fish N chips I've ever tasted. They even let you buy the fish frozen and when you reheat it, it tastes exactly as when you order them fresh. The popcorn shrimp is also a favourite. I'm kinda on the fence with the fries as they're not seasoned but I'm kinda ok with this, I end up seasoning them myself. The coleslaw has a ton of flavor and very fresh, the homemade tarter sauce tastes fantastic, and I like that they include lemon wedges as well.Thanks Lord Elgin! I'll definitely be back.

My friend and I ordered Popcorn Shrimps and Halibut Fish & Chips for dinner. The food was very good - The batter was very crunchy. And the popcorn shrimps and fish & chips were fried perfectly! It was one of the best fish and chips dinner we ever had.The restaurant has quite a few picnic tables in the parking lot for customers to enjoy the food and nice weather. We will definitely go back the next time we visit Port Elgin!

The staff are friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable and the fish is to die for. It was an absolutely delicious dinner. I highly recommend it .

Great lunch today. Full plates meant we left full. Fish, fries and coleslaw all amazing. The meal arrived so quickly after ordering. Nice and hot.Thanks to our server who was super nice.

First and LAST time here. Service at the takeout entrance was prompt, and professional, but that’s the only good thing I can say.I ordered 2x halibut and chip meals @ roughly $22 each. I received my takeout order in a brown paper bag, stapled and all ready to go in about 15 minutes.I got home, very excited, and very hungry.. I opened the bag, and was instantly in disbelief because I “thought” they had shorted me an entire halibut and chip meal.The two pieces of fish were small in size, and the entire container was mainly filled with fries. Not wanting to drive back, I called to let them know, I’ll be back when I can, to get the other meal I had paid for. During the phone conversation, we went over what I ordered, and what I had received. To my complete surprise, what I had received, was in fact the 2x halibut meals.$50 for a couple small pieces of fish, a handful and a half of fries, and dinky little tarter sauce containers that a baby spoon wouldn’t even fit into.Now that I’m over the disappointment, and finished making another meal for my wife and I, all we can do is laugh.. Lord Elgin got us good!

This restaurant is NUMBER ONE!! This is the best fish and chips place in Ontario, I can't say enough good things about the food. My mouth is currently watering just thinking about the food here, it's amazing. The staff are fantastic and quick and friendly. This is the best place to go of your in Port!!

Lord Elgin Fish & Chips
I have had a lot of fish and chips, but this place is seriously the best I've ever had. The halibut was moist and melted in my mouth while the batter was crispy. The homemade tartar sauce gave a hint of sweetness that finished it off perfectly. Honestly, 10/10, would definitely recommend.
