We have gone to Albert for over 45 years for all our watch and jewelry repairs, batteries, appraisals etc. Always a real gentleman with great service and good pricing. As one example he replaced the entire inner workings of my wife's Rado watch for half or less then what Rado would have charged.

Great Work Repairing and Restoring my age old, about 142 year old (1880ish) Regulator Wall Clock. Thoroughly detailed to the nth degree, top notch quality work. Time consuming, but worth every waiting moment. Thanks Gary, you did an amazing rehabilitation.

This modest Gentleman fixed my watch right on the spot , no marks on the case , the watch was returned to me as good as new with the correct date and time on the dial.A very pleasant experience and i shall certainly let him look at my other automatic timepieces.Highly recommended and something rare today.

-I dropped off my watch for repair, they had said it would take 1-2 weeks tops for a repair and that they would call me in a week or so with a progress update.- Over 3 weeks later I had to call them for the update, be patient were ordering something for the repair".- Over two months passed since I have dropped my watch off. Nobody has called me at all

I brought a vintage watch in to be sized that the bay was not able to do as they did not have the tools to do it he was so quick and both of the gentlemen in the store were so sweet. He did a great job and an amazing price.

Horrible service!!! Brought antique clock in to have a pendulum re-attached. Waited over 2 weeks. Clock stopped working shortly after I picked it up. This clock was brought back several times consisting of over 2 months in the shop. A clock that only had a detached pendulum became a non-functioning clock. Albert's son, Gary, is a rude individual that doesn't have a clue about repairing antique clocks. Albert Schmid had a really good reputation that has now been tarnished by his son Gary. If anyone is foolish enough to use this company ask Gary to prove his credentials before agreeing to have service done.
