Fantastic experience from start to finish. We had a number of pot lights installed throughout our home which required some new wiring and switches. The quoting process was quick and efficient, Rob quickly understood what we were looking for and gave us some pointers ahead of time around number and location of lights, how easy or difficult each install might be, and what we could expect in terms of damage to the drywall and ceiling.We booked several weeks out for installation, and the crew showed up on time on the date we'd agreed to. They were very professional and efficient. Our work was completed with minimal drywall damage (just one hole in the drywall per area for fishing wires) and they even screwed the drywall back into the studs to make my repair job easier.Will definitely be using the Floodlight team again when we need electrical work in the future!

Floodlight Electric installed a hood range and 2 bathroom fans that I purchased myself. The price was VERY fair and they finished the work very quickly (in a few hours). They cleaned up any debris after the work was performed. Their billing team was also highly responsive. I really highly recommend them. They are honest and professional.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Floodlight. We were updating our father's house to ready it for sale and had to remove and update old knob and tube wiring. We had dealt with 2 other electricians before Floodlight. One electrician said he fixed it and it obviously wasn't and another gave us an astronomical estimate without even seeing the house. Selling a parent's house from a distance is stressful enough without trying to figure out who is trustworthy and who isn't.Finally, based on Google reviews we called Floodlight. WOW!! Their service and honesty were amazing. They set up appointments and showed up on time. They even sent out text reminders about upcoming appointments. Moreover, when we had some issues after the work was completed, they came quickly to check it out (it ended up being nothing). They were polite, trustworthy and did an amazing job.If you are looking for an electrician in the Ottawa area, I recommend Floodlight without reservation.

Floodlight Electric provided excellent service on the two occasions we used them. Joel was punctual and professional. The first occasion was a problem with our electrical outlet and second was the installation of kitchen pot lights. In both instances Joel explained what he was doing and why. Massive electrical upgrade to our quirky 70s house. Many pot lights in many rooms, light fixtures replaced, sockets added, analysis of lighting needs provided as the work was being done. Aodhan and Adam have done a superb job here and were easy to talk to about changes that needed to be made due to the build of the house. Rob got the project moving quickly to dovetail with the next trades coming in. All this work done while we were working at home on different projects and working from home at a desk. Work areas cleaned up very nicely each day. Highly recommend working with this company. Say goodbye to your old lighting. The new led lights are so much better. Pot lights mixed with modern LED bulb- less light fixtures means no more storing bulbs, no more changing bulbs, better quality lighting and a whole new look in your house. I wish we had done this years ago. Looking forward to the automatic generator kicking in this summer/fall/winter/spring when the power goes off due to bad weather. No more hauling out the gas generator and running lines for just the essentials. Excellent work everyone!
