Spice Lounge and Tapas
Big 50! I hosted a Birthday Party at the venue upstairs. It was perfect for my group of 40. Ryan was incredible accommodating all the requests and making sure everything is perfect. Chester and Cass were amazing bartenders! The food was so good. I would definitely recommend Spice Lounge for your next event.THANKS again ! CHEERS!

Delicious food and friendly service. The restaurant prices are fairly standard. It can get pricey because usually you try 2-3 dishes and share it amongst the group. Its not bad if you split the cost. The portion sizes are smaller , so it is meant to be shared. I recommend the tacos , the brie flatbread , and the tostadas.

Very nice ambience - good decor, good music at the right volume. It isn't a big place so has a very cozy vibe but it definitely looks like it would be a lively bar on busier weekends.We went on a Saturday sandwiched between Easter days so there weren't a lot of other people - probably about a third full during our visit.One weird thing - the ceiling in the middle of the room is a recessed dome. I found it was reflecting the voices of another table on the other side of the room so I could hear them clearly as if they were standing right over my head.Service was wonderful, friendly, and prompt as well. Overall food was good - very hearty and comfy. Some hits and some misses.Patatas Bravas: Excellent with lots of seasoning and flavour. Could use a little less Bravas sauce. Definitely get this.Grilled Calamari: Can be skipped. Rubbery and not a not of flavour.Fig & Brie flatbread: Delicious. Inhaled this dish. Everything was good about this.Blackened Ahi Tuna: It was alright. Can't pinpoint what was missing. Maybe needed a bit more of a spicy kick.Cameron Al Ajillo: Delicious. Came with amazing wood-fired bread that really elevated it.Enjoyed our visit here and would definitely come back.

Well…DO BETTER. The music was the only reason I gave this “lounge” 2 stars. My La Paloma tasted like pure glucose, I asked for a Stella it was presented to me still in the bottle. I asked for napkins, I received 3 crumbled napkins, which appeared to be found in the trash. The calamari was barely OK. Huge sigh!!!

Great patio but the food and drinks were okay. I specifically liked the mushroom croquettas but the tacos were okay... The tortillas were a bit too thick. The drinks tasted a little watered down but the atmosphere was great.

Came with a friend to sit on the patio and was thoroughly disappointed. The server was probably high or something but we waited at least 20 minutes before he came over. We made eye contact with him at least 7 times. Once he came, we reordered our drinks and some appys. 30 minutes later he came over and asked if we're enjoying our drinks, not realizing it was just melted ice from our first round. He went to go get them" but we saw him scrambling behind the bar telling the bartender to make them. We asked for the bill and cancelled the food

Spice is one of the few restos which hits on every level. The food, service and atmosphere are ALWAYS on point. This is one of the few Port Credit restos that has never left my dine in rotation, and can't foresee it ever leaving! Keep up the great work, guys!

We had a great meal here the other evening and Andy, our server, was fantastic. The food was delicious and the drinks were lovely - we especially loved the calamari and mushroom croquettes. I would definitely recommend a visit here and a seat on the patio as it's great for people watching.

Came here for drinks on a Saturday evening with friends. Not sure what our waitresses name was since she never introduced herself, nor did she pay any attention to us until we asked for our bills. She failed to mentioned any sort of auto gratuity when we sat down and while we were paying our bills. I explained to her that most of us were industry people and I have nothing against an auto gratuity but you should definitely tell the guests while billing them out. She of course had the worst attitude when I called her out. She was obviously trying to make an extra buck off of us. Wouldn’t come back specifically because of her. Just be aware if coming here with a group!

Great time celebrating a birthday at this lounge. Had live music with an amazing singer and a great friendly vibe plus audience. Food was spectacular, and drinks came out exactly as we wanted them. The singer was kind enough to let us join for the night and we had a blast. Cannot recommend this place enough. Note that this night wasn't busy, so service may differ from us.
