GBTEL - Grey Bruce Telecom

This is the WORST ISP ever. This is 2023 but GBTEL is in 1800 in providing their service to the customer. We pay $80 for 10MBPS.....!!!! and guess what we don't even get half of it. My phone data works FASTER than GBTEL. USELESS to have this on your house. Don't waste your time and money. I am going to cancel at the end of the month.

Been on GBTell for several months now after the first two months of my internet it just went to s*** it doesn't do anything it doesn't say connected and I'm never late on my bills I always paid them on time and I always pay more than I have to,, my Wi-Fi dosent work.. And when i call they want to say its on my side of things excuse me... The internet is not my side of things that is still your side of things GBTELL do better... Not the best customer service..

I have had issues with the network since they installed it and have had multiple back and forth with them to solve the issue. done everything on my end that I could do, so I asked them to send a technician to investigate the problem which i was told it would cost $75/hr (kind of a lot). they never sent a technician or even called me back. when i called them to inquire about what we talked about i was told a support ticket was never opened and then they gave me the same dance around that the issue was on my end and that they would call me back to see what they could do, and again never called me back. i have disconnected like 3 times trying to write this review and at the end of my patience. i have had internet with GBtel for 4-5 years with the same issues because it is the only ISP around really.

Hot spot is very weak and even if showing you are connected I have to log out and log in again on the same device to get wifi at Carson’s

Infinity Network Solutions deals with a lot of ISP's. GBTEL is the most honest, reliable and responsive provider that we deal with in the area. When other ISP's fail to deliver, if its in their coverage area GBTEL has never let us down.

Called GBTEL to ask if Bandwidth could be increased as On Demand shows lagged/froze. The rep that I talked to listened well and said that the area in which we live may not have the capability of being increased; but he said he would try to do something. That same night (at 9:30PM), he called me and my mate and left a message on both of our phones to say that he was able to increase the bandwidth! That night and the following night I was thrilled as the On Demand shows ran without a hitch! So pleased with this immediate follow-up and attention to our request. Highly recommend this company for your internet services. Better to go with a small town, local provider as the personal service and results speak for themselves. Thank you!

Service is good,(during the week) but after hrs technical support is HORRIBLE!!!! called with an inquiry,was told they really had no idea lol said hang on while I ask my manager, was waiting for over 26 min while the whole time all I heard was banging!!! Still didn't get my issie resolved cuz again they didn't know
