Genesis Walk-In and Family Clinic

Terrible experience. The doctor was very condescending and unfriendly, and I was later told at a different facility that when performing my stitches, I was numbed incorrectly by this clinic. Thus contributing to my pain. Because of this, I later had to go to the emergency room. I will not be going here again and would not recommend at all.

This clinic is filled with bunch of unprofessionals. We just moved to Georgetown and saw the sign that they are accepting new patients. we were happy to that we can have a family doctor just few minutes away from home but thats not the case. its been 2 months and we could not even do meet and greet with the doctor in order to finish the signing up process. first they call is few days before our appointment and say that the doctor is under going surgery and wont be available. They Booked our appointment a week later and a day before our appointment they are telling us that the doctor is travelling and wont be available for the appointment. so if the doctor is not even available to jus meet and greet how can we believe the doctor will be available when we are actually sick.and the receptionists is filled with bunch of jokers, they don't even know what's going on there.Oh and don't be surprised if receptionist will be the one end up doing your dressing if you are hurt lol.

This was my first visit and I’ll be back! The receptionist was kind and booked me an appointment within an 1-1/2 hour to come in. My son had bronchitis but every symptom is of course covid symptoms in which other doctors refused medical treatment only a phone call! We got there early, was taken right away. The pharmacy on the premises was so convenient. In and out in 20 mins. The doctor actually touched my son and checked his vitals etc! Clean, bright and friendly!

PLEASE AVOID! This place doesn't even deserve 1 Star. As someone who works in health care I am horrified. At 5 weeks pregnant I suspected I had strep. I was told to wait in my car for a call from the doctor. She just gave me prescription while I sat in my car, I didn't even enter the building for her to look in my throat or be swabbed for confirmation.During another appt she was quite impatient and rude with my 2 year old daughter. Will never be returning and the doctors in this clinic should be investigated.

I visited them in the month of Feb 2023, I was impressed by the kindness of the staff and the short wait time ( i had an apointment and only waited like 10 min) I’ve had terrible experiences with walks ins before , so this one was such a positive relief… doctor spends like 3 minutes with you max, but I guess that’s every doctor… Allopathic medicine, so you Know how they are fond of the prescriptions and drugs to try to solve the problem, but tbh I loved this experience overall.,,

Very good service all way around with reception and doctor and pharmacist, if I need see a doctor I go back there in future.

Went with high fever and severe pain in my throat. Doctor got one of the front desk girls to do a rapid strep swab and just came back to let me know the results. Went to a different clinic the next day and was diagnosed with a severe bacterial infection in my throat and given antibiotics. This is not the first time. My son was misdiagnosed there as well. Please hire better doctors.

What a GREAT experience. As soon as I walked in, the front desk young lady (I am sorry I forget your name) was so welcoming and helpful. I was so happy with her attitude and courtesy. I saw Dr. Al-Mehiawi.......he is amazing. He was extremely helpful and understanding. I am reluctant to recommend this place as I would like to keep it to myself so they don't get too busy, but I have to call out great service when I receive it. This was FANTASTIC service. Thank you Genesis.

I was turned away 1 hour before closing with only 1 person in the waiting room. I was first told that there were no doctors available and then told that their 60 patient per day max was already reached and that they don’t do stitches at the clinic ( even though the poster on their window said they did). This clinic does not care about helping people.

The doctor I saw completely dismissed me when I said I had tonsillitis/strep. Told me people your age don't get strep". Didn't use a light to look at my throat
