Inexpensive rentals, new and old movies, informative and friendly staff. I've found movies here that I couldn't find elsewhere or could only buy online for overmore that I wanted to pay.

This place is fantastic. Great, knowledgeable staff. A movie lover's heaven. Great selection of criterion films as well.

This is the best used video store I have ever been to. I love the way the store was laid out. They uses a very unique system of flip cards to view the movies. The organization is great. There is a section organized in 55 of the top directors. If you want to hunt for movies to buy or rent this is the place to go.

Seriously the bestI visit family in Toronto 4-5 times a year and the one stop i make sure to check out is BSV.It feels like a fever dream where I’m able to go back in time to buy my fav movies.The curation is unbeatable, from underground labels with rare art house blu rays to brand new releases on 4K .Also they ship and for cheap in Ontario !!Most of the movies in the picture above was from BSV!!!

This was my first time visiting this Toronto pillar. Very happy to now be a member and looking forward to going back. An incredible selection of movies for rent and for sale. Streaming has been damaging to physical media sales and rental, but no single streaming service has a catalog like this. There are more criterion titles available for rent here than the Criterion Channel has available to watch at any given time.They are also incredibly helpful and kind.I love the video store experience and could spend hours browsing if left to my own devices.I left with 6 rentals and I'm looking forward to going back for more!

Simply the best place to go in the city if you're looking to buy or rent a hard-to-find DVD. Their selection is unmatched and their customer service is amazing.

This is THE spot for any lover of movies on physical media, 4K UHD BluRay, HD BluRay, and DVD. The staff are super knowledgeable and will order pretty anything not immediately available in their vast inventory. Physical media RULES...oh and they rent, too.Highly recommended!!!

As a long time collector of physical media, coming here was like a pilgrimage. I initially contacted the store via email, responses were quick, friendly and professional. I placed on hold a copy of Robocop 4k UHD. I was astounded to see a vast selection of boutique blu-rays and 4k's. They are one of the few stores left that rent DVDs, Blu-rays and 4k discs. Pricing is fair and I look forward to coming back and buying more discs.

One of the few remaining places in Toronto where you can buy or rent movies. The staff are super knowledgeable, the library is insanely vast and anything they don't have they're happy to order for you.Prices are fair and often match or beat what I've seen on Amazon and other online stores.If you live in Toronto and love movies make this place a regular stop, you won't regret it!
