I had a hot water heater replaced last month. The two guys, Peter and Ron, were very professional, punctual and knowledgeable. They were in my home for less than two hours, and Ideal even took care of removing and returning my old unit to Reliance. Reliance overwhelmed me with the crazy criteria and prices for removal. I was so relieved that Ideal Home Comfort took care of these details for me. Thanks!

Very responsive and professional. Today they installed our Aircon and I 'm very satisfied how it was done. They did not leave a mess on our basement and the installation is flawless. Kudos also to Jim the sales person is a great person to deal with.

My heat would not go above 15 degrees in my home so I called Ideal Home Comfort. I had used them for furnace servicing/maintenance and a gas leak in the past and was satisfied with the initial interactions. However, this time, this company did not resolve my issue and billed me anyways, telling me it was my fault and refusing to send another technician without billing me again. After being told several times by their technician that it was a thermostat issue, and purchasing two new thermostats, I called another company. This other company arrived within an hour, understanding the urgency as I have tenants living in my home, and quickly resolved the issue. It took them 20 mins to determine that the flame sensor was dirty, causing the heating issue, and my heat has been working perfectly ever since. I would not recommend Ideal to anyone going forward.

After inspecting the furnace, the technician said the ventor motor had to be replaced. I was billed $856.13 for the part, labour $135, and part pick $40. Surprised by the bill, I called to get quotes: From Robinson they quoted $450 for part and labour and Francis Fuels , quoted $400 plus labour. I called back Ideal expressing my outrage for the mark-up and asked to see the bill for that part but the secretary refused saying the company had a special price.

Not happy at all,they are not professional, they are good in changing the contract at the last minute.Ask for your free warranty because you will be paying it through the years.Try not to be scammed

Had Ideal Home Comfort through Home Depot came in to install a Trane AC unit on July 29, 2020. Price was comparable to others. Installation went very well.

The installation of our Ductless Mini-Split air conditioner on the upper and lower level of our townhouse went flawlessly. The technicians (Ron and Peter) who performed the work did an excellent job and took care not to dirty or damage our home in the process. Great overall experience!

Jim was very helpful/informative over the phone and scheduled duct cleaning services right away. The technician was very polite/great as well! Thank you.

The AC installation was done exactly when they said they would. April 30th. Unfortunately they blocked access to my water shut off tap, promised to come back and never did. In fact the salesman Jim said to me: “What do you want me to do?” They didn’t once pause during the process to say that there was a problem.
