Allstate Insurance: London Westmount Agency (Phone Only)

Forget about talking to a real person in the London office, they never answer the phone, so you get transferred to a call center in another city. I tried to call them back to renew my auto insurance policy but since they didn't answer, I get a registered letter stating that they will not be renewing my policy becauseIdidn'tcallthem back! Terrible service with a house claim also this year! The personal service is gone and so am I, not renewing either with them!!!

Cancelled my policy as I found one more than half the price. Due to no one covering the agent's email my cancellation a week before renewal went unnoticed. 2 weeks later the agent returned and was able to cancel the policy and issue a refund. It is now 2 weeks later and still no refund. They are very good at contacting you if you are signing up or you owe them money but terrible if the onus is on them to rectify issues.

My husband and I moved back to Canada in September of 2020, and with my husband having to immigrate, you can imagine how many hurdles we have had to jump through to get acclimated! I started shopping around for car insurance and fortunately stumbled upon Alberto Castelhano who has been a LIFE SAVER!! He was so responsive and helpful and was able to get our car insurance set up easily and at a great rate! He makes himself so accessible which is nice these days, no automated message to sort through, just a friendly voice right away! He is honest, helpful, knowledgeable and gets great insurance plans at a great rate! I am writing this review so other potential customers can get a look at the level of customer service they will experience when dealing with All State insurance. I opened a claim for a vehicle break in and was told I needed multiple claims for the same incident, which means multiple deductibles.t The window of the passenger front was smashed in and the door trim and panel damaged inside and out. Property was stolen from vehicle. I did everything I was suppose to do, contacted local police (which directed me to an online form to fill out never showed up) contacted All state and then waited. I wasn't able to get a hold of my adjuster until they contacted me. I was provided a claim number and a 1 888 number which routes you to a call center that just takes messages. Not only am I not able to reach one person to deal with this claim but I can't seem to get a hold of the person responsible for the current claim. I will be switching companies once this policy is done. I shouldn't have to pay multiple deductibles for the same incident. That is what they call double dipping and I the customer is getting screwed over. so in closing again this is just my experience, and can't speak for others who have had a positive experience just posting my own.

Due to a neighbor's tree being hit by lightening, we require assistance as soon as possible as the tree was through our roof. Before emergency services even left the scene, we has OnSide restorations show up to begin assessing the damage. All damages were itemized which did affect the electrical for the appliances inside the house.When everything was finalized and repaired, my wife and I realized how lucky we were to have Allstate on our side.
