Great selection of bonsais - lots of variety and not the cookie cutter types. Kinda pricey though and not sure if the prices are standard or made up as she goes.

We highly encourage anyone who isinterested in Bonsai to visit Ottawa Bonsai. Helen and her husband have the best collection in Ontario/Ottawa area. She is extremely knowledgeable and kind. Her years of patience, work and love for her art are clearly seen in her collection. We are anxious to return to add another bonsai to our garden soon.

I highly recommend Bonsai Ottawa! Although their selection caters more towards more experienced practitioners, there was still a massive selection of plants available for a beginner like myself. Helen also went above and beyond to help me decide on a tree that would suit my experience level/price point, and explained in great detail on how to properly take care of my new bonsai.Thank you again Helen! I will definitely be coming back in the future.

The owners were extremely rude. I am an experienced bonsai amateur and the woman was very rude and impatient. Although they have a very nice collection, this was a very negative experience and I do not plan to go there ever again

My partner and I went to check out the Bonsai plants and didn't realize it was by appointment only, however; Helen was more than accommodating with us! The selection is beyond excellent- any plant lover's paradise. The plants were fairly priced and in amazing condition, you could clearly see they were loved and taken care of. The owner, Helen, was fantastic. She not only gave advice on what species were good for apartments, seasons, and beginners but she also went above and beyond with sharing her wisdom with us. I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone interested in quality plants!
