Good Choice Restaurant
Good Choice Restaurant was so good that we went twice in two weeks! Their Peking duck courses are delicious and their portions in general are quite generous. The owner is so hands on -- she took the time to explain the seasonal pricing of all the seafood available and gave us recommendations on what would be the best value for our large party. There are many combinations you can choose from at this restaurant, which allows you to try a variety of their dishes.

Good Choice Restaurant's ALL DAY dim sum is a great bang-for-a-buck, especially for take out! They offer 10% off all take out orders, which is an absolute steal considering their large portions here.Whether you're looking to dine-in or take-away, they have great safety measured in place, and their food is sure to satisfy. For dining in, I highly recommend making a reservation first & calling beforehand, as they do not have many tables inside and gets quite busy during lunchtime - ESPECIALLY on the weekends.All their dim sum offerings I've tried so far have been nothing short of amazing. Flavourful, fresh, and comforting, as dim sum should always be. I'm so glad I discovered this one hell of a gem.

Good Choice Restaurant
If you are looking for a good Chinese restaurant and you don't want to go to Richmond, then you need to check out Good Choice Restaurant they are located along Fraser st., It s a small restaurant, so be prepared to wait or better yet do reserve a table in advance. They are open daily except Tuesdays from 10:20am-3pm, then 5pm-9pm. The dim sum is so good, and they serve Cantonese style cuisine.

The dimsum was good and will order again.The singapore fried noodles was very disappointed. It tasted and smelled like burnt but it does not look burnt at all.

Good Choice Restaurant
Standard Chinese restaurant, came here to celebrate friend's birthday. Didn't know there's free parking after 6pm in the back until I went inside the restaurant. Which I paid for street parking already. Dinner menu selection is quite limited compare to other Chinese restaurants. We decided to order their set menu with the Peking duck. The server kept trying to upsell seafood (lobster or crab combo instead of the duck) to us but we declined several times. The restaurant is actually small, I think I counted 8-9 tables? So definitely recommend to make reservations ahead of time.

I noticed this place 3 years ago and had been meaning to try them. My friend was kind enough to invite me to a birthday dinner and she gave me three choice for location. I picked Good Choice. The restaurant is very small – perfect size for a family dinner. We had a great meal. All the items were good except for the BBQ duck. I would not order the BBQ duck again. Two of us came back for a meal because we were craving Braised Egg Tofu. We were pleasantly surprised that they offer us the lunch dim sum menu as well. A lot of the lunch items were perfect for a table of two. That meant we were able to try more dishes and not have to worry about eating the same left overs forever. We asked for a dish that was not on the menu – deep fried black cod. They dipped it in some kind of sticky batter which was nicer than flour. Unfortunately though, my partner claimed that his piece was still cold inside. I finished the rest of the black cod, it wasn't as steaming hot as it should have been. Lots of bones. Next time, we will stick with what's on the menu. I am giving this place a five star because of what it is – a great family size restaurant, with perfect serving size for the two of us (and larger serving size for the family), able to customize, and most of all, for a very nice lady who might be the owner/manager who smiled at us and really welcomed us even though we were strangers. We came back for lunch. MSG is more prominent with the lunch items we ordered.

Good Choice Restaurant
I want to find a place on Fraser Street to have lunch .After checking the reviews online, I discovered that this place has received positive feedback. Maybe today is Monday, it is not crowded , and some tables are available.We ordered Steamed Scallop Dumplings, Beef Tripe & Tendon in Special Sauce, Baby Cuttlefish in Curry Sauce, Stir Fried Radish Cake in Spicy XO Sauce, and jellyfish with vegetarian goose. I enjoyed all of the dishes as they were not overly salty or greasy and were very tasty. The portion sizes and prices were reasonable. The only downside is that there is no free parking and the number of available tables is limited. If I find myself in this area again, I will definitely come back.
