Wandered in and was struck by the creative clothing made by local artisans. Very unique! Left with two pieces that I looking forward to wearing when it gets cooler.

My aunt who spoke no French and barely any English saw a blouse for $65 and was surprised when she was charged $74.74 at the counter. She paid it anyway and left the store. But went back 15 minutes later to return it and was told the store policy is ‘No Return’ . On the store receipt there is a blank charge of $9.74 which my aunt did not understand. I called the store and the lady told me that it is the taxe. Nowhere on the receipt is there any mention of taxe or any information about the GST number nor the TVQ number as required. And nowhere on the receipt is there any mention of “No Return”. I was told that the store has been using the same receipt for 36 years so it should be good enough.
