We hired Wendy as our month-of wedding coordinator and she was fantastic. She's very thorough, organized and easy to work with. She was amazing at pulling together all the loose ends before the big day, from confirming the guest list and meal selections to executing our style and decor on the day of just as we imagined. She was there for us every step of the way, called out details that we didn't even think of and took a lot of the stress off our shoulders. We would highly recommend her for your event needs.

The timely and professional service of Wendy from WLA Events truly is what pulled our wedding together. From the moment Wendy took over the communications with all those involved in a complex outdoor wedding, on a private estate. The stresses of wedding planning were removed from us. She coordinated a large team with many moving parts on a sprawling estate lot. As soon as the ceremony started everything ran like clock work and if there were behind the scenes stresses or problems, we were never eluded to them. Wendy and her team took initiative, organised our rehearsal evening, made sure every detail was considered and were beyond flexible when changes needed to happen. She ensured that we ran on schedule according to our plan and made adjustments where necessary. Her communication was clear, concise, and just the right amount as we got closer to the day. Due to her expertise, and keen eye for design and style, Wendy's team was able to expertly pull together the look and feel we had envisioned for this wedding and far exceeded our expectations. Her dessert table design was like artwork! We could not be happier with the service provided by Wendy and her team and would highly recommend having a wedding planner on the big day. We are forever grateful to Wendy and her amazing team!

We hired Wendy to help plan our wedding which we started 1.5 years prior to the wedding. The experience was great as she would keep us organized, be the first point of communication with a lot of vendors and made sure we could bounce ideas off of her. We were in constant communication and whenever we had any questions, we would very easily be able to get in touch so she can look into things for us. There were a few unforeseen hiccups on our wedding day but Wendy was able to solution all of those without us even knowing which was great. Thank you for making the day run so smoothly!

Wendy La (WLA Events) is a super star!Not only did she take care of us, but also looked after our other vendors and guests.There’s no greater feeling than when our other vendors and guests gave us compliments about our wedding co-ordinator!Communications with all our vendors was top notch.We also loved how Wendy kept our wedding party in check. The schedule/agenda ran perfectly. We loved dropping the line “Don’t worry, Wendy’s got this”, or “Ask Wendy La”, etc. whenever our bridesmaids or groomsmen had questions.Our room at our venue (Guild Inn Estate) looked beautiful! The centrepieces, the head table, the cake, the receiving/reception line, the dessert table - literally every part of our space was gorgeous.Thank you Wendy - you’re the best!
