Easy/moderate to hike. Not good for biking. There are a lot of trails in this area but there is no sign on the trails, so you can get lost easily. Some spots are muddy and slippery, so make sure to wear proper shoes.

The location of this to access is incorrect. Can someone in the know correct it? We followed directions but you just get to an open field with no parking nearby on that corner. Walked a few hundred feet but turned around and went back:( Couldn’t seem to find the right way in, even though we were where it told us to start.

One entrance IS at the corner of Beaverbrook and Proudfoot. Follow the truck tracks north to the tree line. The actual trail starts there. I also found a trail entrance on Beaverbrook, just east of the townhouse complex. You can also access the trail from Walmer Gardens, on the north side of the CP tracks, via a hole in the chain link fence (!), then through a pedestrian underpass to the trail.The trail itself isn't particularly scenic, especially in November. I cut south at the Cherryhill apartments, but I assume you can follow the path that runs parallel to the tracks further east, maybe to Platts Lane.

This is a greenspace beside the rail line, and it shows. But the walking paths are well maintained and it's a great shortcut. Expect coyote after dark.
