Fantastic! Not only does the restaurant have a great atmosphere, but the food is delicious. I have been here on multiple occasions and every time the staff is incredible, the food is superb, and I leave a happy customer.I definitely recommend trying their shafts and nachos!! I am so excited to see they are starting to host more event nights ( music bingo, karaoke, and more)I can't wait to see what they do next!

4 of us went to JR slims last night for dinner . And WOW easily some of the best food in Victoria and great prices. To get started we had glazed dry ribs (meaty and great flavors) and prawns These prawns were great size as well great portion. Mains we had 3 steak specials with lobster on top with garlic mashed potato and asparagus. All 3 cooked exactly how they were ordered 2 medium rare 1 rare. (Perdect) I had the chicken parm but substituted mashed potato for their insanely amazing Mac and Cheese. ....THX FOR THE AMAZING FOOD KITCHEN AND STAFF AT JRs.

I was working my way through the happy hour menu. First I had the sliders, which were excellent. Then the tempura prawns, also good. I introduced somebody to the restaurant, who liked it also. Next on my list was the glazed dry ribs... with a curry glaze. Smelled and tasted a lot like BBQ ribs and not the curry glazed dry ribs that was promised on the menu, nor did it look like the curry glazed dry ribs that I saw in a photo in these reviews, and when I asked Andy about it, he didn't have an answer for me. I'm not a fan of barbecue, but what I am a fan of, and what I've been trying to do since I got to Victoria is to experience unique tastes.I had previously given this restaurant/bar five stars because I really like it. I'm just a little fish that they won't miss.

Really liked this place, the team running it are efficient and professional, the cocktails are delicious! And the food just as yummy. Great location too, right in the heart of nightlife in Old Victoria. Love love the music they play too. Of note...the steak and that sauce and the perfectly done greens...mouthwatering!

Happy hour was absolutely happy and worth it. Any everything was exceptionally delicious.. we tried shrimp tempura which was only 5$ for 4 pc . Slider and fish taco. Even fries was tasty. Thanks to the DJ to make our night special and we enjoyed Bingo game.

PROS love JR Slims and here is why... 1) Not only did they KNOW what a #harveywallbanger was, they had Galliano on stock! If they can make our favorite obscure 70s drink, they probably can make whatever you want to say #putitinmyMOUTH to. 2) We loved the #nachos, if we are going to say it nicely - they have a nostalgic vibe, or... as the owner says they are a nod to the 711 nachos... you know that 2am bar just closed staple of the out and about PRO. Best thing about them, they are cheesy right down to the last bite - there is nothing worse than a dry nacho if you get what we mean 3) They are supportive to ALL the members of our community, and are happy to show it by putting up a Red Umbrella sticker as a sign of solidarity to end violence against all working professionals. BONUS POINTS : They also won our hearts with an offer to make a safe space for the local community after our yearly Red Umbrella march on December 17th. Thanks JR slims, you are PROS in the YYJ.

We stopped by here on a food tour while at port during a cruise. Even though it was very late, and they were extremely busy, they were very accommodating and made sure we were made to feel welcome.The beer was great and the crab croquette they made us was scrumptious. I’d definitely come back here to try more of their menu.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious - every dish I tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Very nice, immediately noticed the restaurant has a nice leather scent. Clean and tidy and the owners are friendly and attentive.We had really, really good dumplings and The Farm" deep dish pizza is very tasty as well.Better pizza than a pizza place that's not far away and the best dumplings around too."
