I ordered lunch special green curry chicken which came with rice, soup of the day and salad yesterday. The staff is friendly and the food is not bad but the portion is too small to call it a decent meal even for me. For a man I would say even double the portion may not be enough. I ordered a main dish and a salad from the regular lunch menu of another Thai restaurant the other day. The cost is $4 more but I finished the food in two meals. So overall, lunch special is not special at all.

The $10 lunch special is great, you get quite a filling meal at this price. The yellow tofu curry was amazing, I would definitely recommend this and it was their main vegetarian dish but they were prepared to make any dish vegetarian. Albeit the place has a slightly shady exterior the interior is comfortable and well lit. Really great lunch experience and can’t wait to come back to try their dinner menu.

Staff are very polite, very welcoming as soon as you enter the restaurant. Orange chairs & walls. I love the vibrant color overall. Food portion is large and shareable. Tasty food and very authentic. Variety of food to choose from. Really worth the price you pay for. I’ll come back again for sure.

The food was great, that's why I gave it 5 stars but 3 of the 8 dishes I ordered would've have been much better with coconut or steamed rice. We received none. Someone should have asked if I wanted rice because it was pretty disappointing. I won't make this mistake next time. Just make sure you order rice for your curry or other dishes.

One of the best pad Thai. Panang curry was great. The quantity is perfect for 2.They also have package deals of 3-5 different dishes starting from 2 person.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. I usually champion for small mom and pop places but this place fell short . By the rating I suspect most either have low expectations or have not eaten any decent Thai food .Jungle Curry2/5Lacked flavour and seemed to be just red curryw/o coconut milk. We requested spicy and it was bland watery and mild . Jungle curry is usually spicy flavourful and hits you with a punch . This one consisted of frozen bagged veg along with a couple cubes of eggplant . No fresh green peppercorns , grachai, lemongrass or even small Thai eggplants . At a $18.00 price point this was sad . I’m not Thai and make better jungle curry at home .Som Tam (Papaya Salad) 1/5Their Som Tam consisted strangely of mostly a bet of full iceberg lettuce leaves with a sprinkle of grated green papaya on top . It was very sweet and the green papaya appeared to either been shredded a long time ago or the bagged variety and soggy(not crisp or crunchy ) it lacked fish sauce and dried roasted chilli and at $14 is a total rip off given its mostly iceberg lettuce leaves . Had to pay $3.00 extra for a side of nam prik pla (fish sauce w/ chilli). Which can be found on the table of most Thai places.Rad Na Noodles 2/5Again bland and with copious amounts of frozen cauliflower veg mix . Noodles were soggy and gravy La led any taste .Khao Soi 3/5The best dish of the night though from a pre-made curry paste again . Also no chicken on the bone (drumsticks) but a small amount chicken thigh / breast pieces . Definitely not the khao Soi you would get in Chiang Mai . At least they got the type of noodle right.Spring Rolls 3/5Standard store bought pre-made spring rolls . Nothing great about them .Rice 1/5Total obscene rice prices $7.00 (medium) for two bowls of rice is obscene for this restaurant. For context I spend $4.00 for a large bowl of rice at Mott 32 which is a fine dining restaurant in Vancouver. Nowhere have I seen such messed up prices for rice .Overall for two people we spent $107 after tax and tip which is insane for the lack of quality or care put into the food .They.really rely on having a captive audience with most guests literally clueless of actual Thai food .The dining room was empty at 730 at night with only us there. Sad as they have an easy opportunity to really capture a market of Northern Thai / Issan / Lao cuisine that hasn’t been touched . People would be lining up and travelling to eat there if they didn’t cut corners or put effort into their food . Unfortunately it seems like they are just looking to maximize profits while letting the quality of their food suffer terribly .

Eaten here/ ordered quiet a few times. Food is always great quality with good sized portions. Love their red curry and coconut rice the most.
