First I want to say, I'm really grateful that this job was an option during a very bad time in my life, healthwise. Second, some of the management is truly fantastic. Third, some of the employees are also truly fantastic, with their work ethic, knowledge and willingness to teach. But for the rest... Well, it's a long read.I was actually really stoked on this job, but both times I was there I got screwed around by upper management. The second time is the one I'd like to focus on as it was more recent. When I came into the job, after a few months there was talk of promotion, management and upper management started making promises that I would get promoted if I did a bunch of extra work. Which I did, happily, for months. When it came to that time of promotions I didn't get it. After some concerning responses from management, I decided to reach out to upper management, the Operations Manager. Just so I could get clarification on what happened, and what I could do better or differently. That's when it was confirmed to me that I wouldn't (probably ever) be promoted because of my health issues. I should have fought it with the Labour Board, but I was so done. I walked out that day, and I haven't looked back. Until Google randomly asked me to leave a review.1. Some things to note, management is rarely on a cohesive consistent page with each other. You'll get different information and different results, depending on who you talk to.2. I noticed that those who slacked off, gave misinformation to customers, and did the bare minimum of their job requirements often got promoted or praised and recognized. It's not always the case, but it was definitely 50/50. While those who worked harder, did more and helped implement positive change and clarifying documentation were often held to higher standards without financial compensation. To me that's unacceptable, and not a work culture I want to be a part of.3. Even with all of the doctors notes in the world, it is very, very difficult to get all of / most of / any of the ergonomic equipment that is required for some people. There's a lot of red tape, and jerry-rigged fixes that aren't actually correct or good for long term.4. Also, depending on the management style, and who you are, some rules don't apply. An example being the point system. If you have 12 points, or absences where you've called in, you get fired. But I found it really strange that although that was the standard for most of the employees, there were definitive employees who frequently flaunted that they should have been fired 10-30+ absences ago, but their managers changed the points for them so it didn't matter. But if it doesn't matter for the some, why does it matter at all? The lack of cohesion across management is absolutely wild to me.5. All of the inconsistencies, as well as the lack of actual support once you're on the floor (because level 2's are often short staffed and not paid enough), the high turnover, lack of morale and the politics make this a pretty stressful place to work - if you are the kind of person that believes in working hard, and doing your best. Especially from a company that says they care about you and your well-being, while I'm the same breath provides vending machines for people's meals, with not so healthy options.6. It's a very fake it till you make it" attitude. Which has its upsides. But it also has its downsides. Meaning

Trat you fair during hiring...well even. But once you hit the floor your pimped out as hard as can be expected. High turn around rates. Internal promotions and tech skills education make it not a bad place to be BUT this IS a stressful environment.

I've been working here for 9 years. Have gained many skills. The people are great! It is what you make of the place, with a positive attitude you are able to move up in positions.

One of the worst companies to work for. They do not care about you. You will be working at basic pay and there is no job security. Please keep in mind before you join them. This has been my worst companies to ever worked for.

Great place to work. Friendly people, benefits, flexible schedule, career advancement opportunities. As long as you do your job and do what is expected of you, with a positive attitude you will excel in this job and could even make a career out of it. Great for people just starting in the workforce, good for people wanting a job for something to do during retirement, great for working class people; all around a great place to work for all.

It's a great place to work, after you move away from being a tier 1. If you don't aspire to move up, or get stuck on the ground level, it's not great.

I was hired on with this joke of company back in October of 2021. Due to a one day delay in equipment the removed me from the training class and said they'd get me into the next. Weeks go by and finally I get an email to say that they could put on another project. Awesome! BUT that's not what happened. I sent numerous emails to several people and again ooops they couldn't get me into the class the NIGHT BEFORE I was supposed to start. So here we are almost three months in and I has an issue with the Sterling background check so AGAIN I am not able to start the class slated for January 20th,22. I have wasted three months of my time and money. Do not waste your time even applying to this place. If you see they are hiring keep scrolling to avoid the frustration, disappointment, loss of money and out right lack of respect. If I could I'd give them no stars. There is nothing professional about this place.
