Nice center for learning how to swim, dance and other indoor activities

Still closed, we miss the pool

I bring my son here for swimming lessons , the place is clean and organized , hardest thing is to book lessons here as spots are very limited

It's good, it's just its location and the other community centers in Richmond Hill nearby are better. If you want to rent a facility here and are having more than 100-150 people, than don't. I was planning to rent a facility here, but I couldn't and chose another community center just because of its location and small size. The biggest room for a venue is the Longhouse Gym, which is still pretty small. Its location is far from nearby food options. It does have some good travel nearby with YRT, which goes to the community center as well as St. Theresa of Lisieux CHS which is a walking distance away. However, the walking distance to nearby food options are not nearby. The closest is a breakfast place which is 20 minute walking distance, but there are no nearby locations for lunch that are a walking distance. This doesn't let me host my events here because lack of accessibility for everyone. If you don't want to go far and eat, you can still get snacks throughout the day at the vending machines. However, their swimming lessons are pretty good. Their basketball lessons though are pretty bad and need some work. They used to be good, but they are much more boring than before.

Great area and nice community centre with well maintained facilities

There are lots of noise by the vending machines which makes it disturbing to wait in the pool observation area. Also all lights are on during the day which is waste of energy...

Don’t recommend their dance class if your kid is a boy.The dance teacher behaves very unprofessional with boys students. My son refused to go to the class after first session and lost his interest in dance. I heard same experience from other friends about this dance teacher but unfortunately it was late. He already lost his interest in dance because of the teacher who doesn’t know how to interact with little boys.

It's a very nice and clean pool but the change rooms aren't that clean, there are mold all under the change room benches.

I live close to this community center. One thing I have always wondered is why do they not have an exercise room or sauna? They have the space for it and there is an incredible sunrise view facing nature in the east that they need to capitalize on. This would be a small expense for them and there are many people in the area that would really enjoy this.

Nice community centre. Inside the centre few rooms for classes and really nice party room. I was there once as a guests and really like specious room. There is a nice playground befind the centre and walking area. Right now walking paths under construction. Some upgrades done for observation area.
