Always a pleasure to shop at Independent. Friendly helpful honest staff. Clean environment. Easy in and easy out with more than enough space to park.

First of all, about their new chicken stand. Please stop leaving the French fries OR the chicken under that light, You're leaving it too long. $18 is too much for a chicken meal with dried out food. It is not up to the customer to pay your mistake. Make it fresh and hot or don't make it at all. 3 stars is more than fair.....

I regularly shop at this location and find the store clean and the staff friendly. However recently I went there and had my 10 and 14 yr old kids with me to pick up a few things. My 10yr old spotted a sign posted stating that kids can have a free cookie if they ask at the bakery counter. He asked if he could, I said yes and off he went to ask for his cookie. After some confusion from the staff member about the cookie policy, we were asked if we were Christians. I said no, not practicing anyway. I was told that my son could not have a cookie as they were only available to Christians. This is not mentioned on the sign at all. I found this rather off putting. When does your religious beliefs decide who gets what store perks? I am not sure I will return.

Great prices and service

Clean, well stocked, fresh produce. Staff cheerful & helpful. The only lack of service is that the cashier I had made no attempt to help bag groceries,line would have progressed much more quickly had she done so.

The last 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts packs I have purchased here have all had bones in them.Choked on a bone this morning. Chicken is wildly overpriced as it is and they can’t be bothered to even remove the bones from the boneless chicken.I would think twice about buying from here. I would expect a bone in a fish fillet but not in chicken thats advertised as boneless.

Usually a very good selection of fruit and produce, and typically you can find decent cuts of meat for a fair price.Enjoy the staff here, everyone is always friendly and more than willing to help if an issue arises.About the only drawback (especially since covid and social distancing) is the checkout situation. Can be a bit tricky when busy, as it's not clear where people should line up, and you can't always see where the next available spot in a checkout line isOverall, great store!
