It was kind of an odd atmosphere. There cleaning supplies left laying around. My family's food was great but my wings tasted horrible and my baked potato was even worse.

The service is excellent and so is the food. Took a ride out to Smugglers Cove Roadhouse for a view of the place, i will tell you this definitely worth to drive, the setup that they have out there is super, the restaurant is beautifully setup as, very big with lots of seating, the menu is great with lots to choose from. We were in the restaurant for maybe 2 minutes and greeted by one of the staff and she was extremely friendly and had lots of energy, took our drink order and when she returned with freshly brewed coffee, we were ready to order. She took our order and within a matter of 15 minutes she was back with our food. Definitely fast service, and the food is to die for. If you looking for a place to get great service and great food drop by the Roadhouse, trust me its worth the drive.

Lots of atmosphere and our waitress was wonderful. House salad was loaded with lots of veggies. The cod was good. We had the Drumstick cheesecake for dessert! Amazing!

Loved everything about my visit, they are a wonderful group that can help you bring your vision to life, i.e. helped host local Grade 7 graduation, 2023! They made it delicious and very welcoming, the kids and I as a parent equally enjoyed our visit. The views while i worked, chatted and ate on the patio

Atmosphere is nice. The food portions have certainly gotten better in the past year, though the menu could use some more variety. Food was prompt even though it was busy. The food was cooked well and tasted good. The staff was very friendly and were wearing masks. They were also cleaning regularly. They do need to do some safety maintenance around the outside of the building. Some light bulbs are broken and strings of lights were hanging on the ground. They also have one of the wheelchair ramps blocked off but there are others accessible.

Second visit here today, Rode on motorcycle from Paradise Newfoundland with my wife.Place was full as expected being supper time but got a table after about 30 minutes. We got seated in the corner against the wall passed the men's washroom, everything flowed smoothly until we noticed tables being sat after us.A short while later those tables got their food.. We're still waiting...... Finally as those tables were paying their bill, Our order comes out. It's a safe bet to say that we fell through the cracks amongst the kitchen /server hustle and bustle. The food was AWESOME, but having to wait close to an hour for poutine seems a bit much.Perhaps, I'm wrong? Will be back, because the food is worth the wait lol

Great food and atmosphere. There was a local musician playing with a great selection of songs. The staff was very helpful and friendly. As for the food, the meat was falling off of the bone for the ribs. I think gravy makes a poutine and it did not disappoint along with the home cut fries. The one downside to the experience was the musician finished a little after 8pm and we had not quite finished our meals that night. I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance.Great hidden away local restaurant on the Burin Peninsula!!

We were there well before opening hrs. Yet we were allowed to roam the grounds and enjoy their old-fashioned frontier type store fronts. Great job.
