The phone experience was one star but the in-store experience was 5 stars, so I give the final score an average of the two.I purchased Superpaint from another Sherwin-Williams store and found that I needed more, the other store didn't have any so I called the Kerrisdale store to check before heading over as it was a long way to travel. The customer service rep answering the phone told me they didn't have any in stock. I asked when they expect to have stock, she checked and told me that the paint had been discontinued! She said no other stores would have inventory other than one that will take over an hour for me to travel to.I called Sherwin-Williams' 1-800 number to double check and was told that the Kerrisdale store should have 6 gallons of Superpaint in stock, I didn't know whether to believe it or not, but I took the chance and went to the store.To my surprise and relief, the store did have the paint in stock. I was greeted and served promptly. The employee was a trainee but she was efficient, respectful and tried her best to answer all my questions. She did not know why I was told Superpaint had been discontinued. If I had believed what I was told over the phone, I'd still be scrambling to find the paint!

I know very little with regards to paint. Worked with David today and was pleasantly surprised with the service he offered. He was the only one in the store but was extermely efficient handling the curbside pickup customers and helping me at the same time. Had a great experience with David. Too bad he only works Sundays!

Very helpful staff, fast and experienced, will help you get the right paint and tools for the right project. The manage kay is a nice, young, dynamic girl,very experienced and always do her best to get you what you need for your paint project. I will strongly recommend this store, for home owners and professionals.

I have been to this store three times recently because I need paint for my place. All the staffs were very helpful and friendly even though it was busy at the store. This is the best Sherwin Williams store !

Apparently 8am is the busiest time as contractors grab their paint before work. Although there was only 1 employee on staff at the time, and a line of 5 customers waiting on him, plus another yelling at him over the phone about some payment issue, I had a great experience here. The line moved quickly, the staff was professional and friendly, and I am super pleased with the colour match they did -- bet you can't tell where the patch is painted on our trim (see photo)!

Incredibly good paint. Their color matching process is 100x better. I’m doing cabinets and they Color matched twice to get it just perfect. Homedepot would have done it once and said it’s best they can do. I’ve been loyal to these guys for years after realizing my paint jobs were lower quality due to paint from HomedepotOnce you buy their paint, you will be wow’d. I had incredible positive experience using their paint on a fence. It looks so solidI would buy Benjamin Moore, their paint is overpriced compared to the quality of paint. Stick with Sherwin-Williams

Worst sherwin I’ve been to 17 years painting and I’ve never had a paint store worried about matching a sample in a quart and took them 20mins just to figure out what they’re doing definitely would drive to another one next time I need a sherwin in this area. Would recommend others do the same
