I can’t say enough good about this exceptional place . I was referred for a significant problem and the level of care and compassion was second to none . The wait times were non existent as they escorted you from room to room and to every qualified compassionate technician and their specific machine. I jokingly told them I’m going to stop sitting between tests because it was easier to stand for 2 minutes then get up . Great care and very thorough explanations of what was to come alleviated all anxiety. Keep up the great work . Highly recommend

Whoever the main floor receptionist is, working at 11am on 01/20/21, needs a serious lesson on front line etiquette. My grandfather was booked 2 appointments first one was today and in the email it states he will not be seeing a doctor as its a baseline testing appointment. Upon entering she was cold and rude. When we gave her my grandfathers name she was insistent that we needed to know who our doctor was or else my grandfather wouldn't be seen. After explaining to her over and over again there was no doctor we had to finally pull up the email stating there was no doctor before she would drop it and get my grandfather checked in. You would think the very people who book these appointments would know whether or not a patient will be seen by a doctor or not wouldn't they? And not only did she not know the information and made no attempts to find out if my grandfather was actually assigned to a doctor or not, she decides she would rather threaten that he will not be seen and quite frankly that is infuriating. Thankfully we arrived early or else this receptionists antics would have made my grandfather late for his appointment and that is not right considering his doctor thought his condition was bad enough that he should be seen as soon as possible. I suggest you have a word with this woman as she is the first impression for your clinic, patients should feel welcome when arriving for their appointment and I can tell you she did the complete opposite!Edit to the owners comments: No, this was not the wrong clinic. I never said my grandfathers appointment was at 11am, we arrived there at 11am, his appointment was at noon. This is why I specified main floor reception as this is the first person you speak with when you enter the Southern Alberta Eye Center. Maybe she isn't an employee specifically of Cloudbreak but regardless she is a representation of your clinic considering she is the first point of contact.

They are the worst. I was referred here due to my optometrist noticing something minor and she wanted to confirm it wasn’t a big deal. They don’t tell you that the first appointment is not with an ophthalmologist. They just do all the same testing you already did with your opticians which takes a whole hour. They just want to bill Alberta health to pay off the loan of their expensive equipment so they have no qualms about repeating testing that has already been done.Keep in mind it’s incredibly hard to make time to come for these appointments to begin with since they are during working hours. You have to waste your time the first appointment to get the second one that actually matters. My working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:30 now (they weren’t when I went to the first appointment, I’m now in a new job) there is no way I’m taking time off to attend appointment number 2.MASSIVE waste of time.

Long wait times and medical gaslighting from Dr Hanson. I’ve now been twice and have never experienced such a rude doctor before. The wait times are expected as they check you in at the time of your appointment and then you wait for about an hour to see a nurse and then wait another hour ish to see the doctor. I spoke with reception as I thought it was a one off from the first time, but no - this is how the practice is run. Parking is of course paid so be ready for that and to be there a couple of hours before seeing the doctor.Edit: They tried calling me and resolving" the matter so I'd delete this review. I told them I couldn't speak as I was at work and they kept insisting. I said I wasn't interested in discussing the matter and didn't have time to chat

Ok ... where to start. First off they charge for parking and the building is not very handicap accessable (poor ramps and to steep for most old folks). We had a confirmed appt a few weeks ago and when we arrived the doctor was on vacation. Came back today to an overflowing wait room and have now been here for over 2 hours, plus I got a $60 Parking ticket as I only paid for an hour and could not leave my 90 year old father alone. Staff is good as was the Doctor, but the system of overbooking and making folks wait for so long is brutal, as is the building and its management .

Cloud Break Eye Care Team ROCKS! This is the most efficient Dr's office I have ever experienced! Super busy always, and super efficient! You arrive and barely get to sit down before you are called to each moment .... scan pics, pressure checks, Field vision test, (the clicker one ... sooo boring but necessary) Staff are so knowledgeable and amiable Had a emerg concern about my eye, phoned office and they fit me in at the moment! Relieved my concerns in that same day, without taking up my whole day! AMAZING EFFICIENCY! Thanks to Cloud Break Team .... Soooo appreciated!Deb

First visit and I will review future visits as well. 8:30 am appointment . Very efficient. front desk receptionist laughed at my jokes. All were kind and polite . Here is a tip though, just introduce yourself to patients when testing as makes us feel a little less like a piece of meat.

I have been going to Cloudbreak for a couple years now and I have to say that the team works like clockwork. They are so efficient and friendly. The doctors are amazing and they have helped my eye condition so much. Even though it’s very busy in there, I’ve never waited longer than I thought was acceptable and that was through all of the covid rules. I’m glad I was referred here by my eye doctor. Sad to see the not-so-good reviews on here. This is a very good clinic.
