Mattamy Homes - Canada Corporate Office

I'm in the downsview district and it is as bad as anyone else. Try multiple emails and phone contact with them to non-responsive answers. Been to their warranty office and all I get is broken promises and not understanding the needs of the consumer. All this is a big company cheating on their mission statement and the consumers hard earn dollar. What makes me mad is that things that can be done in 15 mins to an hour will take a year to complete. Incompetence is really what Mattamy Corp. feels like to me and the community.

I don't know how they get the title BUILDER OF THE YEAR " when they can't fix leak for over 2 years now. Buyers be aware don't buy from Mattamy. After 2 years they telling me they have nothing to do with that because last time when it leak we had the ice storm and I have to clean the ice from the balcony (at 1am middle of an ice storm) so I don't have water coming in from the bottom of the door and prevent the leak in my garage and leaving room. My next door neighbor had the same issue and couple of other houses

Once Mattamy homes gets your deposits and secures the sale all customer service goes down the drain. Lori from the Warranty office is a real piece of work. They don't take any blame when they drop the ball with clear evidence in black and white . There isn't a thing called common courtesy or an apology from Mattamy. Do yourselves a favor and purchase from any other builder other than Mattamy.

My experience is nothing short of a nightmare. Unacceptable craftsmanship by any building standards. This is the most frustrating experience I have ever had to endure in my lifetime.Poor workmanship, terrible communication, and a overall poor product. It is VERY apparent this builder does not have any quality control practices based on the product they delivered to me on closing day.Once we closed the home, is was a battle trying to establish communication (and still is) to resolve the hundreds of deficiencies. It is very apparent that this company and it's executives simply don't care. Numerous attempts at escalation to executives resulted in damage control and promises that went completely unfulfilled.Mattamy Homes should be held responsible for the burden they place on their paying customers. This has been, and continues to be a nightmare. Shame on you Mattamy Homes.I will never recommend this builder. Think twice before you consider this home builder for what may be the largest purchase of your life. Extremely disappointed.

Doing touchups and warranty repairs with Mattamy has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had with any builder. They drag things on and on, literally one baby step at a time. We send them the items that needs to be fixed, first time the guy comes and they can't repair anything as he's not qualified to do any of the work. We'll literally have contractors come in 6 times through 4 months to just fix two issues.During Covid, you would expect Mattamy to be more efficient to finish the job but this is brutal. I understand now why they have such low ratings on Google.

in regards to your MILTON SALES OFFICE (Derry)I would give 0 stars if I could.My family has been a long buyer of Mattamy homes. Over the years, we have seen the quality of their homes go down. Recently I had the honour" to witness corruption and sheer stupidness at their Milton Sales Office. Apperantely this office wants you to handle their admin work for them. What do I mean by that? On September 9th at 10am there was suppose to be registration for new project. My father i went to stand in line on September 8 roughly around 8pm. We sat there for a good 4 hours before finding out there is an unofficial list being passed around that is being handled by an unauthorized individual. I never signed it because it was not authorized by Mattamy. Over 150 people followed to put their names on this sheet like good little sheep without even asking who authorized. To my dismay the next day this was confirmed by one of the Mattamy representative who works at the Milton Office location that they will honour that list because in the past they have noticed this works out better than having to deal with a "black Friday" situation on registration day. I am sorry if this works in so well then why did you not formally leave a notice at you office doors for people coming in after to know if this "new" process you have embraced? And then he tells me its first come first serve? SO someone can line up 4 days before put their name on a list they created

The team in Oakville built my home and they did an outstanding job! I’m very happy with the product as well as the experience from the sales office, to the design studio, construction and closing. The assistant builders, Yusuf and Paul were excellent; spent the time to update me throughout the construction progress. My design consultant, Tiffany brand was extremely professional and made excellent recommendations. The customer care team, kanika, tanya, have been very responsive. I had very minor issues, one was with my garage door opener. I ran into the builder, Wendell, who came to work on a Saturday and he got someone on his team to resolve my issue on the spot.I would definitely recommend Mattamy to my friends.

I bought the house from them. After a year AC stoped working. Talked to them and they said the warranty is over when no one will use AC in winter. Technically should be under warranty. Another owner have same problem. Leaky condenser. Guess what they used the cheep condencer so it will brake down after year. Bad customer service, bad company. Bad, bad, bad

Moved into a new build condo and it’s been nothing but broken item after broken item. Door latches/handles broken off. Intercom systems that don’t work. Broken garage doors. Massive water leak in the building damaging many units/floors. Pressure balance issues that they say is fine, it’s not fine when as a vegetarian my unit smells like bacon from other people cooking. Touch screens in the elevators are already breaking barely one year in. Sliding doors leaking badly due to poor fit-quality. Run away from this builder like they run away from good quality and customer service.

I have owned 3 new town homes. One in 2017,2019 and today. I have never ever experienced noise from neighbours like I have now. The houses cost so much yet they are built so cheaply ? I’ve complained so much , I don’t think it’s properly insulated because there is no way I should have to hear chairs sliding on a floor and simple walking. It’s constant all day everyday and I have a baby who can’t sleep. Sadly after a year I will be selling and I won’t buy a Mattamy ever again. To not be able enjoy being in the comfort of my own home and feeling as if someone is in my home other than me is scary. The basment as well it sounds like someone is walking upstairs. My shelves rattle from the noise. I feel robbed of my money… these towns are almost at a million yet are not even worth that in regards to the quality. I know during Covid they also had to get the homes up as fast as they could … just terrible super upset and I’ve even spoken to the town and they said they did it to “ code “ which is the bare minimum to meI actually had to sell the home irs been so bad and I move out in a few months. Not being able to have my daughter sleep because the noise is so bad is beyond me. I shouldn’t have to live like this in a house I own
