My son and I went to see his grandmother who was moved to Pallitive care.We were not told all the details of her situation.The night nurse told me that she only has a couple of days left and we should get in to say goodbye as soon as possible, like at 9am when visiting hours start.We arrived and the manager met us at the door and said firmly that we cannot see her as it is her request and the Essential Care Giver's to.I mentioned that we understand, however, yesterday,( Mother's Day, my son's sister and Father were!(We later found out that they arrived to nobody at the front desk, darkness everywhere, nobody to Covid Screen..not safe!!!)I calmly mentioned that my son hadn't seen her in a year.
