Spectrum Spanish Tutoring

I was SHOOK when my girlfriend from Mexico and I became official and I needed to learn Spanish. I made a few calls and Spectrum got back to me right away. The first thing they said to do was stop using Rosetta Stone which I didn't trust right away but it turned out to be the right thing to do. Today I am sitting at a coffee shop doing my homework and constructing basic sentences in Spanish, and I even like to make the odd sentence in my head as I walk about my day. I know it's going to be a long journey but having achieved this much in the first couple weeks is a relief and now I can sit back and let the process take care of itself. The best part about Spectrum Spanish Tutoring is that you get to work live, with a real person, a teacher, in class week after week, and so this intimate learning environment makes it impossible not to learn. Spectrum Spanish is my first experience with language learning that was exciting, interactive and fun. Kerri is a perfectionist who is excellent at reading people which is a quality necessary for deciding which approach works best for the individual. Kerri keeps it challenging but not overwhelming. She is positive and energetic, as she herself has a zest for learning and a passion for teaching. She is a great teacher who is there for her students and their needs. She teaches all ages and looks forward to any challenge in life.

Kerri is such a great teacher. She was able to assess my level really quickly and we dove right in and picked up on areas where I was lacking. The conversation classes she offers have been a huge part of my improvement. Would definitely recommend!

I have been a student since August 2020. After looking for some Spanish learning places in Windsor, I ended up with Spectrum Spanish, as they showed the most interest for my situation. The price is also very reasonable, especially because I am taking advantage of the discount by taking classes in pair with my brother.Kerri has been a great teacher and sends videos and content to keep us on the right track daily. The hours they offer are flexible to match the variable work schedule that I have.Overall, I have been very satisfied with how Spectrum Spanish has been doing business, and happy to see real progress with me Spanish. Studied here for a better part of 3 years if not more. If you live in Windsor area and want to learn Spanish just go here. As a matter of fact even if you don't live close by I'd still encourage as online lessons are offered. That is exactly what I did after I moved from Windsor to Toronto. Timings are flexible enough on a month by month basis. You can always discuss that with Kerri. She is very much approachable and has a great sense of humour. More importantly her Spanish is great and her vocab is, well, let's just say she does not need a dictionary. Of course she will teach you grammar and she has a structure to it so turn your brain off follow it, believe me it works. Apart from that, the pronunciations as well. I don't know if my pronunciations are that bad but she had at least 12 corrections on an average in every sentence of mine. Ok, that is an exaggeration, but the point you're in good hands. The best part is, based on your requests, you can always go to one of your previous lessons and revise it. Also, conversation classes are a part of the full membership plan that she has. Normally a native speaker will have these classes and these are super fun. I used to have Oricia and Myke in mine, awesome people and just great fun over all.

Taking Spanish lessons with Kerri was one of the best decisions I have ever made. She has taken my knowledge of Spanish to a level I never thought possible. I am going on two years with Kerri and it is some thing I look forward to every week.
